I am requesting to re-open the complaint I had opened against Paducah Heating and Air Conditioning [redacted] I am not satisfied with the conclusion of their response, and however I was unable to reply at the time due to a family emergency that took me out of state for several day's She has claimed that I have changed my story, however this is an outright lieShe claims that hours is the time for a tech to check for leaks, this from my experience with other AC companies is also a inaccurate statement (every other company I have ever seen "check for leaks" pumps a dye into the lines and comes back later to check for leaks, this does not take hours to do, unless they were doing it incorrectly, would be near impossible to do without dye as the leaks are generally so small you would never find them with the naked eye)She also claims that the invoice was signed, however this signature is not mine, it is very clearly not mine, and "I" am clearly not satisfied the work was done to a professional standard of any kind, or a satisfactory levelI have also never seen customer service at this level before, so dead set to screw the customer for a very small profit Regards, [redacted]

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below I did not sign it as satisfactory, no technician ever say's sign this only if you feel we did a satisfactory job, if that was done, it would not have been signed, I am sureI who is not the home owner, nor the person who signed the ticket am not satisfied, I was not satisfied, and neither was the elderly lady who signed it at the timeIf we were, we would have followed the instructions on the ticket and hired a electrician, not another HVAC companyA medical doctor would be liable for law suite for malpracticeYou are more then welcome to bill the home owner, she might actually pay it, however I will not pay for this in any situationI would sooner pay for a newspaper add, or call the news and make my experience with your company very public You think your reputation is professional, yet most people I have talked to about paducah heating and air have low regard of the reputation, the most common thing I have heard was the techs show up stonedYou can take that as hearsay or look into it, I really dont care Regards, [redacted]

In regards to your letter about *** *** Complaint ID *** we have a signed service ticket that they are responsible for this bill
We went out to the residence and the reason that chris is on the bill is because he is the one that called in the service call and left his name and
billing information
We firmly believe that we did a thorough jobWe checked the entire system for leaks (which was asked by home owner) and that is what took so longhours is not a long time to check for a Freon leak and try to repairBeing that we have a hour minimum
We have talked and emailed several time with Mr*** and we always get a different storyOur service tickets clearly state that if signed they are legally binded to pay bill
Please feel free to call me anytimeThank you for your time

Regardless of what Mr*** thinks or responses from other companies about finding refrigerant leaks, we have a known reputation for being very professional in al l HVAC aspects or repair and installationWe are sorry that he feels the way he does about this matter but we responded to a call from this location and we provided a service which means just like any other business that we are entitled for payment for services rendered and the service ticket was signed at the time and place as satisfactory or the customer wouldn’t have signed the ticketIt is clearly obvious that if there is any screwing as Mr*** put it , it is coming from him not usPlease pay your bill and if you are not happy with us for your future work call another company to ensure your happiness

When the technician initially responded to the call the gas logs repair was not a part of the service request and the homeowner added the repair request after the technician arrivedThe technician did respond that the homeowner could probably buy a brand new set cheaper than repairing the old ones
since they were obviously in bad shape and new sets can typically be purchased from $150-$She refused to consider new logs and requested an attempt to repair of which was done but no damage was created by our personnel but was already there before we arrived and that is why they were not workingThe customer made a bad choice to repair an old log set that could be replaced with new logs for a cheaper costWe guarantee our repairs for days if we change parts but not on a worn out set of gas logs

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowI do not accept Paducah Heating & Air’s response to complaint # ***
1) On initial call I requested routine check/service of traditional gas furnace and ventless gas logs, and specified to the arriving technician mostly my concern about checking for carbon monoxide or any gas leak (CO release)(Again, my initial complaint involved him not being prepared with specific service order when he arrived, which resulted in him having to return to main office minutes away for routine part-all of which was part of first bill and is paid in full)Technician stated he did not have such a device on him, and would have to return to shop to retrieve oneGas logs were functioning when he arrivedI paid fully that day initial bill/invoice of $291.18, dated 12/30/where technician specifies vacuuming gas logs and that they ‘worked better’ when he finishedWithin two hours of him leaving, the gas logs had gone out and would not re-lightThey were working when he arrived, and after he left they would not workHis return does not justify any new bill of $100, as he was called back to repair what he damaged
2) I dispute completely second bill dated 1/5/(delay in coming back out due to holiday), as it was no new service, but only repair of gas logs disabled by technician
Their own bill documentation indicates technician ‘bent electrodes of pilot-lighting mechanism’, as bill specifically says, “adjusted pilot to hit thermopile more’So this was no new service call, it was a ‘call-back’ to repair technician inflicted damage (which company says they do as ‘standing by work for days’.
Proposed Conflict Resolution
I have since contacted a reputable HVAC company and they have repaired my gas logs, fully functioning and found that the problem with them was obviously debris blown into some of the burner openings, due to improper vacuuming cleaning or use of crude vacuum attachment that led to bending ‘electrodes’ on pilot ignition device
New company charged a service visit of $75.00, to repair Paducah Heating and Air’s damage, so I wish to sever relationship to Paducah Heating & AirI have found Paducah Heating & Air’s office management to be unscrupulous and threatening, and their service unprofessional and ineffectiveI feel no responsibility for ridiculous invoice for $(dated 1-5-2015), which never was a new service call, but only a ‘call-back’ to address damage from earlier visit (again, gas logs did not work at all, after Paducah H/A technician left!), as Paducah Heat/Air claims to “stand behind work for days”I ask that bill/invoice be withdrawn completely, or Paducah Heating Air assumes responsibility for damage to gas logs
Regards,
*** ***

We totally disagree with the complainers response and feel it is an absolute falsification to make our company look badWe did not ruin the log set or damage it in anywayWe did not blow debris into the lines because we were vacuuming which pulls it outward not inwardNevertheless we are willing to drop the final $service charge to bring this to an end but do not admit to doing any wrong by letting this goWe have been in business for a long time and provide service to thousands of loyal and satisfied customersNo one would know our record of professional service better than the Revdex.comWe probably have not received more than or complaints in yearsYou will run into an occasional *** *** by touching as many people as we do and we do not wish to squabble and fight over a bunch of accusationsWe will take the $lossGood Luck!
Thanks

Wow.  I would like to say I am shocked about the response but I am not.  Our whole experience with this company has been nothing but bad.  Everything this person has said in response to the complaint is a LIE!  A down and out LIE!!  NO ONE EVER CALLED US!!   If we had received a phone call we would have NEVER made a complaint to the Revdex.com. However, that is not what happened and therefore we had no choice but to make a complaint because it was obvious that this company doesn't value their customer.
This IS the first bill we have received... EVER!!   THEY WERE SENT PICTURES from our video surveillance that had times on it showing the time the tech was here to PROVE to them that the time charged was wrong.  The tech WAS very rude and said he would NOT leave until someone signed the work order.  He also stated that this was customary and if we didn't like it too bad because this is just how they operate.  Which goes to prove as we were told by 5 other people who have complaints against them that they do in fact do business crooked and are not honest with their customers up front.
The owner of our business NEVER called this company more than once to come check out the unit.... NEVER!!   As a matter of fact he said when he called they were suppose to be here DAYS sooner than they were but they NEVER showed up or called us as a courtesy to let us know they would be late but he NEVER called to make a complaint.  We waited patiently for them to show up.  Also... calling someone a boy shows real low class and it is VERY obvious that this company is just that... LOW CLASS.  We will NOT pay this invoice.  They did NOT do their job.  Their employee was RUDE and the proof that this is how this company runs their business is so very evident in their response.  As for the comment the manager was not here... you all are a piece of work...the manager WAS here and WAS the one that signed the stupid work order.  Get your facts straight.  Obviously this [redacted] is a mn.  She can't even check her facts before she sends out a response.  This is just so laughable and just what we expected from them.
As for the comment being another business you deserve to be paid... well, you know, if you did the job then YES but you didn't do the job and didn't return a call nor a letter.  So again, we will NOT pay this bill.    We have video surveillance and can PROVE that all our facts are 100% correct AND the staff that was working that day was witness to it as well.

I did not sign it as satisfactory, no technician ever say's sign this only if you feel we did a satisfactory job, if that was done, it would not have been signed, I am sure. I who is not the home owner, nor the person who signed the ticket am not satisfied, I was not satisfied, and neither was the elderly lady who signed it at the time. If we were, we would have followed the instructions on the ticket and hired a electrician, not another HVAC company. A medical doctor would be liable for law suite for malpractice. You are more then welcome to bill the home owner, she might actually pay it, however I will not pay for this in any situation. I would sooner pay for a newspaper add, or call the news and make my experience with your company very public.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted]. I do not trust Paducah Heating and Air and do not accept their way of doing business.Their offer of losing $100.00 is fabricated, since the bill was not a new call, but a call-back. However, I am convinced they will not accept responsibility to provide satisfactory service to a customer. I am the one out several hundred dollars, in damaged equipment by their technician and useless service. Having received their unprofessional service and considering the poor communication between main office and technicians in the field, I accept that Paducah Heating and Air could not ever make this transaction right. While I have concerns for other potential customers of Paducah Heating and Air, with this response here, I am done seeking a fair resolution to my case.
I would not recommend this company to anyone.
I am grateful for the Revdex.com's assistance in attempting to resolve this matter. Regards,

I am responding to a complaint from trendy repeats.First off some of the things they have stated in this letter are FALSE!
They did send us a letter demanding that we cancel this bill. No pictures were ever sent. And I called them back myself. Although they were not happy with the response they...

stil received a phone call the exact same day we got their letter.
We do not do business ignoring our customers. Never had.
They were mad at the beginning of this whole service call.
The boy who called in didn’t even want us to come in the first place. He called and scheduled then called back to cancel then could not get anybody else so he called us once again to come out.
We told the boy when he called in that payment was due at time of service and some how the owner or manager had to leave before work was complete.
We do not EVER make any body sign a service ticket.
The service tickets are signed once the person agrees that the service was done. Never would our tech refuse to leave until he got a signature.
He did clean the coils and he did service the unit. It was working when the service tech left (if it wasn’t the ticket would of never got signed)
If the unit was not working as they stated if they would of called we would of came back and see if something else was wrong and repaired it.
We guarantee our work for 30 days. How are we to be in fault when we were not told it didn’t work until they got their first bill. And when they received the first invoice is when they sent the letter to us with the invoice included.
That goes to the part where this past bill is the first bill they have gotten? I am confused how that is so being that we received a letter with NO PICTURES with our invoice in the envelope refusing to pay?!?!?!
I feel that PHAC has done their part, and should not be held responsible for this matter. We can not return to fix it if we do not know it is broke.
We ask they please pay their bill to avoid any late fees and collections. They are a business just like us and they need their bills paid just like we do!
Thank you and have a blessed day
