Pagans Appraisal Services

Review: We are an Appraisal Management Company. We contacted Michael Pagans of Pagans Appraisal Service on 9/3/2014 and placed an order for an appraisal. Mr. Pagans completed the appraisal assignment. We sent Mr. Pagans payment of $440 on 10/1/2014. Mr. Pagans deposited check on 10/14/2014. We were informed that the Lender also paid Mr. Pagans for the same appraisal. On 10/30/14 I sent Mr. Pagans notification of over payment via e-mail, with canceled check as attachment. We received no response. Follow-up e-mail was sent 11/3/2014. No response. I was able to reach Mr. Pagans on 12/4/2014 by telephone. Mr. Pagans indicated a check would be mailed when he returned to the office in two weeks. Follow-up emails sent 12/9, I called again 12/15/14, Mr. Pagans was evasive. Sent follow-up e-mails 12/18, 12/29 and 12/31. Called on same days and left voice messages. Called today, no answer, left voice message.Mr. Pagans has not responded to e-mails or voice messages.Desired Settlement: We would like Mr. Pagans to return the $440 appraisal fee for the appraisal of [redacted]
