Pago's Pizzeria & Italian Cuisine

The food was mediocre, but the experience was one to remember. The oldest waitress there Jennifer, followed us out the door after eating and paying and asked “where are you from!” My brother replied “LA!” She responses with “Oh they tip out there!” And shut the door on us very aggressively since they were already closing. So it appears Jennifer didn’t think our tip was enough. It doesn’t stop there! After we realize what just happened and the smug unwarranted comment made, my mother feels uneasy that Jennifer would be so unprofessional to go to the extent that she did and approaches the locked door and taps hoping to speak with management. Guess who answers? Jennifer! She aggressively tells us that we are broke, must need the money that’s why we didn’t tip her 20%. My mother hands Jennifer money and she throws the money at my mother. Then my husband gets his card, and says we aren’t hard up for money and says charge the card.... then she says, she doesn’t want our money, and says learn to tip better. To take a vacay in Sedona, you obviously can’t come broke, so Mrs. Jennifer is definitely mistaken and probably miserable being a Middle Aged waitress working during corona, while I’m kickin back relaxing on a summer vacation. The moral of the story is, this place isn’t Ruth Chris Steak house, the food is pre-made in the back making it a mediocre Pizza Hut kinda day. A tip is deserving and earned, a tip is based off the overall experience as a whole. No tricks or thrills here, just a run down, racist, unprofessional, tacky, hole in the wall establishment. We are coming for you legally. EVERYONE BEWARE!!!!!
