The manager did not ask for paint and we did not turn him down.  My husband and I walked around the house and said second story down to where we could reach to paint the rest before he wrote the contract.  He told me he sat down with us and went over the contract but all he did was email it to me.  The house is vinyl siding with brick with minimum cedar trim.  The reason request for this type of painting is that we are Senior Citizens and cannot climb that high on a ladder.  My husband also has essential tremors. The manager also has written in the contract to fill in cracks and there are cracks on the 2nd story trim that are not filled in and some trim that was painted only has 1 coat.  They have a 2-year warranty but are not honoring anything.  The first response they replied to you was that they were supposed to paint peaks only but as you can see by the contract they supplied to you, there was more than that.  The painter they had no longer works for them.  Our roof contractor looked at the job and there is paint on the gutters (which they did not remove any to paint) and said that his 8 year old son could probably paint better than that.  The painter was painting the trim according to their contract and a supervisor came around and told him he was painting the wrong places so that tells me the painter didn't even understand the scope of the job.  I do not want these people on my property because I just don't trust them or what they would do as they are not telling you the truth.  I want financial compensation so I can have my house painted properly.  My next step is to call 6 on your side as they are taking advantage of Senior Citizens.

We re sorry to hear about the customers concerns.We pride our selves in providing a very detailed painting proposal especially when in this case the home owner expressed several times the cost is the main priority.  We normally don't just paint part of a home but we wanted to help out these...

people and made an exception.  So when our manager walks and discusses the scope of the project with the home owner, he takes very specific notes and puts everything in writing and on the contract that they agree to.  Clearly written on the contract is "2nd story and peaks only" and specific items.  Any verbal agreements are not accepted to avoid these types of issues.  Most home owners get several quotes so we are sure to include all their needs on the contract and in writing so there is no confusion.We completed all the painting from the reach point as agreed then they changed their minds and wanted a lot more painting completed for free.  We also returned and contacted the home owner three times to finish the every small missed area and home owner refused to leave the left over paint for us.  The wouldn't provide us with the paint to complete the touch up unless we painted the rest of the home.  We have attached the contract for review.We feel the contract is fulfilled and complete.
