In preparation to sell our home, we hired Paint Changers, which is owned by ***. We hired them to do some touch up painting, drywall repair, and shutter and door painting. After the start of the project, we noticed things were not looking good. The drywall repair and painting was not professionally executed. As a business owner, you should not offer a service that realistically can not be executed. We are not professional painters, but as the work was going on it was obvious that the process was not working. We kept being told by *** and her staff that they are not done. At this point in time, we have no choice but to repaint the interior of our entire home due to the lack of truthful and upfront honesty from the owner of Paint Changers. She mislead us to believe that she could touch up the paint, when in fact the touch ups only made matters worse. Paint Changers was very unprofessional and unskilled. We ultimately had to terminate the project and have them leave the property. They have since sent us an invoice and a notice of intent to lien against our house. They are 100% in the wrong and the mess and unfinished work they left behind is going to cost several thousand dollars to make right. The bottom line is that Paint Changers is unethical and unprofessional.

If Paint Changers does not cease and desist, we are prepared to hire an attorney if necessary. We lost time, wages, and will incur a significant expense to correct the botched job that Paint Changers did.
The entire process was explained to Ms. D in our initial walk-through as well as outlined in a contract signed by the client. We explained to Ms. D that these repairs and touch ups would not be 100% the way they were before damage occurred. On the morning of our project, we explained the process once again to the client before proceeding. The morning the project started and once the owner of Paint Changers left, the client began to give the crew alternate instructions that were not discussed in the walk-through, nor in the signed contract. She told the crew to do minimal touch ups, because she wanted to hire the crew outside of Paint Changers and pay them directly instead. When the crew did not adhere to those requests made by the homeowner, she became very irritated and short-tempered about the project. The owner of Paint Changers then met with the client to address any concerns Ms. D had with the project. In an attempt to resolve concerns and appease the client, Paint Changers agreed to paint the burgundy dining room wall and the stairwell. The client was still not satisfied and wanted her entire house painted for free. In addition to wanting the home painted for free, the client did not like the color she chose for her shutters and front door. She also wanted these items to be painted for free. After Paint Changers declined painting for free, the clients became very hostile; yelling at the owner of Paint Changers as well as the employees, using profanity, and became very aggressive. At which point Ms. D terminated the project prior to completion. Paint Changers believes in customer satisfaction, but will not be bullied or intimidated by a client who wants to take advantage of a small business and use avenues such as the Revdex.com as well as other social media to try to defame the company. We will be pursuing payment for the services rendered via our contract. We will supply the contract, pictures and video of before as well as after the repairs/paint were done.
