In reference to complaint made by *** we charged *** for the work completed on Mr***'s septic fieldThe work
actually took two days and a back hoe was used in order to complete this work
We made several repairs to the field and when work was completed the system appeared to be functioningWe did agree that if system was not working correctly within months we would install a complete new field at a discounted price
Mr, *** called us sometime in December and reported that the field was not working, we went back to investigate and agreed to install new field lines, however do to limited property availability it would be necessary to bring in additional fill, sand and stone and we could not really guarantee its functionality,
but would do this additional work at a discounted price of *** A new septic system would normally run *** *** We did not say it was an additional *** I believe Mr*** misunderstood the price
As far as refunding money, we believe we charged a fair price for the worked performed and are not willing to issue thi$ refund, We will agree to perform the additional work for the *** as quoted

In order to try and resolve this matter, we have reached out to this customer and offered to install additional septic lines 50-60' each and a new distribution box for the original price of *** less the *** already paid, for total of *** The customer WaN V?) Int us know if this was satisfactory but we have not heard anything back from himAlso please note the average life of a septic field is 20- years, this one is over yrs old and it will require additional fill as it is past its service life

We did seal obvious cracks in the top of the tank, but we did not dig up his tank, we added a riser to the top of the tank, cleaned out the distribution box, roddecl and cleared all field lines, and replaced the pipe from the distribution box to the septic tank which was compromised by tree rootsIf we do any additional repairs on this system and note an obvious crack we would certainly seal it up upon excavation of the septic tankAlso please note a small crack in the top or the top side of the tank will
not affect the functionality of a septic systemWe were not hired to install a new tank or field we were hired to see if we could salvage the current systemUpon initial repairs the system appeared to be
functioningWe have offered additional repairs to his field at at discounted rate, however if he chooses to have some other company complete this work, we respect his position but Wiil not refund any money, as we feel we charged a fair price for our initial 5ervices,

A preliminary inspection of septic system indicates a crack in the septic tank***'s sewer service did not disclose this infoIn fact I was told by *** himself there was nothing wrong with the tank and his repairs would solve the problemIf I was informed of this damage I would have never took on his suggested repair which could never solve the issueI would like his company to resolve the problem so court action can be avoidedcosting both of us time and moneyP.SHis last suggestion would not resolve the issue
