Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: as of today, July 20, 2015, I still have no refund on my credit card for our stay at the Paintbrush Inn If a hard copy check is in the mail than that's fine but I don't have that in my hands yet either We notified hotel staff of our lack of hot water immediately We were instructed to wait minutes and see if it got warm There was little interest on the part of the staff in fixing the issue Thankfully, someone else stepped in and suggested we move rooms Regards, [redacted]

The customer called and made a reservation for a night stayThe customer originally asked the rate for a singleThe customer called later and requested a larger room for more people The customer did not request a military discount until after the credit card was run the last timeThe customer and the other guests plus the dog that stayed in the room decided to stay one night instead of after checking in, so the original credit card transaction was voided, and a new transaction was runOur rates are on our website at www.paintbrushinn.com/rates, and the dog rate is at www.paintbrushinn.com/dogsPlease note that the published winter rate for adults/queen beds is S+ tax, and additional people + dogs + kitchenette are charged extraThe guests stayed in a kitchenette, which has queen sized beds and an additional sofa bed While the burner hotplate was missing when we cleaned the room, we did not charge the customer for itThe only charges that the customer signed for on the credit card slip are for the customer; extra guests, dog, and lodging tax, which was SSince the customer received a 10% military discount instead 20°, we have mailed the customer a check for the difference at the address on the registration card Sincerely yours, Robert Spain

A refund check was mailed to Ms*** for $ *** *** ** *** *** had already credited her card, but we wanted to make sure that she was refunded We were not aware the hot water was out in her room until she called, as a local contractor had been working there the previous
day and forgot to re-connect the gas line and didn't tell us

However, I think it is fair to point out that their response was full of inaccuraciesWe did not initially reserve two night or for only 1-peopleWe specifically were calling to find out the price for people as that was how many were coming with on the tripI do accept their resolution as the hot plate was not charged to us, and we just want this matter closedIf you have any more questions, please contact me

The customer called and made a reservation for a 2 night stay. The customer originally asked the rate for a single. The customer...

called later and requested a larger room for more people. 
The customer did not request a military discount until after the credit card was run the last time. The customer and the 4 other guests plus the dog that stayed in the room decided to stay one night instead of 2 after checking in,  so the original credit card transaction was voided, and a new transaction was run. Our rates are on our website at www.paintbrushinn.com/rates, and the dog rate is at www.paintbrushinn.com/dogs. Please note that the published winter rate for 2 adults/2 queen beds is S49 + tax, and additional people + dogs + kitchenette are charged extra. The guests stayed in a kitchenette, which has 2 queen sized beds and an additional sofa bed. 
While the 2 burner hotplate was missing when we cleaned the room, we did not charge the customer for it. The only charges that the customer signed for on the credit card slip are for the customer; extra guests, dog, and lodging tax, which was S70. Since the customer received a 10% military discount instead 20°, we have mailed the customer a check for the difference at the address on the registration card.
