The painter showed up late. Painted over peeling paint. Bubbles in paint. Painted front door wrong color. Sloppy paint job over areas. He said he would be done 3:00 or 3:30. Had to pay for extended daycare for my kids. I asked him to leave by 5:40 and he couldn't do that, so I had to pay an additional fee for picking up kids pass 6:00. Customer service (Olivia) wanted to send the same guy out the next day even though I requested someone else. She said she would reschedule. I asked for a refund. All Olivia did was argue with us and make excuses.

Painter bros was hired to paint three locations and all three of the jobs were done much less than satisfactorily. The paint is chipping and peeling and looks horrible. We were given a two year parts and labor warranty and yet we can’t even get the original job done correctly, let alone warranty work. I have personally reached out to the owner of Painter Bros multiple times over the course of months and he won’t even respond to me. In the beginning he acknowledged the work was poorly done and that he would get it fixed, but now just ignores me and won’t take responsibility. At this point I would just like a full refund so I can get a different company to redo and fix all of the poor work his employees performed. I will be happy to provide pictures of the work to show just how awful it is.

I ended up taking 3 days off work just to have the pressure washer show up in the evening when I was not home and the painter texted after 3pm that he could not make it. When pressure washed, a huge mess was left around the exterior of my house, they pressure washed through screens on my windows ruining them and when I came in the house large puddles were under each window. I sent an email (because I want it all in writing) to Zach about this and never heard back. The mess on the exterior stayed for over a week due to some weather delay and the painter call at the end of the day to say he wasn’t coming, leaving my neighbor to clean up the mess that was left in his driveway. I came home from work the day the painters actually started and they stated they had prepped, primed and applied 2 coats of paint already to the east side of my house and the porch. Upon inspection it was obvious that they did not prep. I asked if they had sanded and he held up a sponge sander. The door frame had small pieces of foam tape on it from the doorbell that they just painted over. They left that night leaving wads of tape and other garbage in my driveway and the mess from the pressure wash was still not cleaned up. Branches on my Japanese maple were snapped off requiring me to cut almost one side off. I texted the painter to do no more painting until I have talked with Zach. I emailed Zach telling him of the whole situation and that I would just like to part ways, with him keeping my deposit. I received a reply that they do not terminate contracts and that he would come around on a specified morning time to assess the job and get back to me. I could not be there, so my parents waited for an hour but he did not show. That was a Friday and I had expected a call or email that day but still had not heard from him on Tuesday evening. I cleaned up the mess around my house and will still need to replace my screens. Needless to say, the communication between Zach is horrible, the late communication from the painters was horrible, the job the painters did was horrible and I am out the $500+ deposit for a job I have to redo, clean up after and fix screens. This was the most frustrating and stressful experience I have had with someone I have hired.

I hired painter brothers to paint the inside of my recently purchased home before moving in. While receiving our estimate they said our timeline would not be an issue so we picked their company. While scheduling with them to come out and actually do the job they said they couldn’t come for 3 weeks. We were trying to move in as soon as possible and chose them because the estimator said they could do the job. They tried to make it right by calling in a sub contractor to do the job which we thought would be fine and we had nothing to worry about. The job was finished as promised. But that is not where my interaction ended. After moving in and living in the space I realized there was a need for touch ups and the painters to come back as well as pick up garbage the painter had left behind. I contacted painter brothers who were unsuccessful at getting the subcontractor to come back. Weeks went by before finally the project manager came out himself. He did not complete the tasks that I had specifically walked through the house with him pointing out. When calling again to see what happened he said he would get in contact with the sub contractor (again) and have them come out. I called numerous times to see where we were with that and never got called back. I felt I was given the run around and the job was not completed as promised.
