In response to the previous letter, Mr*** and I have agreed to do the painting at his rental property at ** *** ** *** ** ** We completed the work in a professional and timely fashion Mr*** called the office and said that his tenant had some issues with
our paint job One of the issues was that a section of a man door was unable to be painted because the door was shut and locked the day that we were there to paint They also claimed that there were a couple of areas around the house that were light and had a couple of white drips from the trim I made an appointment to meet Mr*** at his convenience to look at some of the issues The white spots that were on his house were bird droppings and when I proved that to him he felt embarrassed There were 2-very small issues where the paint needed to be touched up, the size of a quarter Then the other issue was with the man door that was shut and locked Him and I made arrangements to take care of the touch ups within a couple of days and his wife would be home to unlock the door I sent painters over to take care of these issues and we contacted him to tell him we were done and if he would be able to meet us at the house to inspect His words were I am not able to meet you, thank you very much for coming out and if it wasn't for my father in law I would have never called in the first place Meanwhile, we have not heard from Mr*** until about a month ago when he emailed us demanding that we come back to his house to address his concerns I spoke with him personally and also emailed him to have documentation about his concerns I asked him if there was a specific time that we can meet to make sure that he is happy with our touch ups He did not answer in a timely manor and sent a vulgar email to my secretary stating that he was unhappy and we are unprofessional and so on and so forth Our last email we asked him if there was a specific time he can meet us so we don't have to jeopardize our schedule to go to his home if he is it going to be there Apparently he got insulted by my secretary when she asked him to give us a specific time so that we don't waste each others time He responded with an vulgar email and said never mind don't bother coming back you will be hearing from my attorney Instead he wrote a complaint to the Revdex.com and then says he still wants us to come back which we never said we would not As a professional painting contracting company we are in the final stretch of our exterior season and it is important for us to accommodate all of our customers We simply asked if there was a specific time we can meet him to re-address his concerns so that we can all move on We are still willing to send a paint rep from our paint manufacturer to his rental property to determine what is the cause of his touch ups and we at Painters Plus would be more than happy to take care of them Please let us know how we can proceed Thank you very much!

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Regards, [redacted]  Unfortunately this response does not correspond with the written contract or copies of emails between myself and the company. I don't understand what a tenant or father in law has anything to do with our contract. He is correct about the door and the trim. If those were the only concerns we discussed that day, we wouldn't be at this spot. There were at least 10 more places on the house that only had one coat of paint. The size of a football not a quarter. He took pictures of them and said it was because of where the guys had the ladder against the house. He said he would fix them and he has NOT. I complained days later not a month later. I have copies of ALL conversation with response from painters plus. They said I was NEEDY and not worth their time. They never recorded anything from schedule to paint color. Very unprofessional outfit. All I want is for Painters Plus to finish the work that was contracted written and signed. Also paid for!  If they can't do this in a timely and professional manner, then I will be forced to take legal action.
