I have contacted the shoppers news and asked them to stop throwing their paper in my yard,I have also contacted the sauk rapids police, the st cloud police and I have also contacted you about this problemi am still getting this paper thrown in my yardi called the sauk rapids police again and am now going to file a restraining order against the paper just to get them to quit littering my yard with their trash

Horrible customer serviceHad a paper delivery service and tried to cancel itThey will let you start service online but won't let you cancel itI had to callThey waited a week to call me back to cancel it, and charged me for the whole weekLast Black Friday I did their super special for a year for $Three months in, I tried to log in and was told my subscription was overIt must have been a glitch, but I didn't realizeI haven't used it in months, but apparently I still had an account -- they need to make sure they don't falsely tell their customers their accounts are overHow did I know I even had an account that was active? Because they charged me for a renewal service, a full weeks BEFORE the renewal dateWho does that? Even if I had actually had access to my full year, and only wanted one year of service, I would have canceled it a week before the subscription was up, but that would have been too late because SCTimes renews it almost a month before the actual dateI thought my credit card was hacked because it never occurred to me that a newspaper would charge you a full month before the renewal dateI'm doneTheir business practices are shady and their customer service is awful

On 8/1/I signed a contract with Jeff to power wash and paint the exterior of my homeJeff said that he would power wash the house within a couple of days and would begin painting the house the following weekOn 8/1/I also gave Jeff a check for $1,250, a 50% down paymentWithin hours Jeff cashed my checkIt's been days since the contract was signed and Jeff has not been back to power wash the house and painting has not begunJeff is not responding to emails and is ignoring calls and voicemails

I cancelled the paper after they took money out of my account for the Thanksgiving editionI never gave them my permission to do so, but was told it was written in small printSo, a CS rep said she would not only refund me for the paper, they would still give me the paper alsoWell, I never got the paper and when I called to get my money refunded (dollars and something cents) they would not refund my money because they won't refund but only give a credit if it is under dollarsI did not want to do business with this company anymore, so I demanded a refund of MY moneySo, another CS rep said she would add to my refund and that would bring it to dollars and to expect it into my account in a few daysWell five phone calls and weeks later that money was never given back A sale's person for the times said they won't refund my money they just wanted to get me off the phoneThis has been the worst customer service I have ever had in my lifeI think they are a bunch of crooks

on April 26, my husband and I attended a class through the StCloud Times Media called extreme couponingAt that class they offered a saturday and sunday paper for $allowing up to papers per month for a total of $each monthMy husband and I signed up for this offerwe have been charged the following amounts 5/9/$25, 6/5/$ 98.01, 7/5/$11.98, 8/7/$for a total of $We received the paper for months and should have owed $50, therefore we were overcharged $We called and asked for a refund on 8/and were informed they would contact us in 24-hoursWe called the following week and were told it is in review and there is nothing more we can doWe have called 3-times and the last time we called they shared they would contact usAs of 8/31/we have not heard back from this companyThis has been over half of a month at this point

In July I received a bill for Aug and send a form for them to bill my Visa for $On my Visa bill is was charged on July One week later on Aug they again billed $ I did NOT receive a bill at that time and I DID NOT AUTHORIZE them to charge my Visa card at that time Sept I went to the office and spoke to ChrisI told her I DID NOT authorize the charge on 8-She checked her computer and said it was charges for Sept and they were "catching me up" This makes no sense as I should not have to pay for Sept at the beginning of AugChris said she was contacting Barb who was to get back to me Of course she called while I was still out She left a number, which I called and she never called back I want to know shy they charged my credit card without my authorization At this time I owe for Sept so I will pay it I want their assurance that they will NOT charge my credit card unless I tell them to do soI wish to hear this from the editor Lisa ***

My father has been a subscriber to the StCloud Times Newspaper since the 1950's (he's 92)His bill continually fluctuates each month and the cost for a subscription is increasing in
He recently received a letter indicating he will now be paying $per month for the newspaper with a promise of great benefits such as the e-edition- but my father does not use a computerSo the benefits mentioned do not include him or folks like him who do not read or use online resourcesMy brother also received a similar letterHe lives in Sauk RapidsHis new rate is $or $per month
I've emailed and left voice mail messages for customer service at the StCloud Timesno one has responded to me regarding the fluctuating rate OR the new proposed monthly chargeMy dad is considering cancelling but he really does like the paper
He is on a fixed incomeHe did call at least once to get the price reduced but that happens for a short while and then it goes back up

I called to cancel my subscription on 6/20/I was notified I had paid through the next two weeks and would receive a credit of $to the credit cardI called 6/27/because I never received the creditI was notified that they will not send a credit under $and they just keep the moneyI want a credit of $for the undelivered issue
