Company does not timely apply payments made, then sends past-due notices. Company now has my payment 2x. So, I am over-paid. Owner is unresponsive.Service date: 4/30/14Invoice Date - showing current balance due: 6/1/144 days later, a personal Check mailed for payment on 6/5/14 by meOn or about 7/1/14 I get another "Balance Due Notice". My previous payment was not applied to the account. I log onto my bank and the check is not cashed. So, I decide to give it another week or 2.On or about 7/15/14, I get a letter - not a bill. But a letter stating I am now OVER-DUE and need to pay. I again check my bank online, the check I mailed back on 6/5/14 has NOT been cashed. I assume it has been lost. So, I proceed to mail a second check on 7/22/14 for the entire balance due again.7/28/14 I call Paired Health to inquire if my payment was received and processed. I explained this is the second check that I have mailed. I was told a 'billing expert' would call me to let me know if my second check was received. No one called.7/29/30 I wake up that morning, check my online bank account and now I see BOTH checks cleared on the same date. My check from 6/5/14 *and* my check from 7/22/14 have now BOTH cleared ON THE SAME DATE. Still no call from the 'billing expert' as I was promised.7/30/14 I call Paired Health and now I am mad. I ask why were BOTH checks deposited AFTER my call the previous day. The person on the phone had no answer - only that she would have the billing expert call me. I explained that was the same line was given last time and no one called. She was apologetic. I said I wanted to speak to a manager. She said she would have the owner call me. 7/31/14 Paired Health called me - same person as before, not the owner. She told me "We will just cancel the amount due and you do not have to pay us". I said "Do you listen? Did you hear what I told you? What do you mean I do not have to pay the balance? I have paid the balance now - twice!" Their people do NOT listen or pay attention. They do not process payments in a timely fashion but they are quick to re-bill and send past due notices. I again asked for the owner to call me. 8/1/14 - Still no call from the owner. I called Paired Health one more time. Owner's number is not provided. I was told "He will call you"I am not holding my breath.Here are my problems:1 - Why was my check dated 6/5/14 NOT deposited until AFTER I called about it 6 weeks later?2 - Why was my 2nd check dated 7/22/14 ALSO deposited and applied ON THE SAME DATE at the 6/5/14 check now giving me a credit balance?3 - Why was I told the 'billing expert would call me' and no one did?4 - Why was I told "We will remove the balance due and you will owe nothing so you don't have to pay" AFTER my TWO checks were applied and I had a credit balance? Do they neven look at their own account info before they tell you something?5 - Why has the owner NOT called me after 2 days and 2 calls to his office asking to speak with him? I was told he was given the message both times.So, now I find myself having a credit with this company. And I expect the process a refund (if that ever happens) to be just as nightmarish. I will NEVER use them again or recommend them - ever - to anyone. Desired SettlementI was told my balance would be removed and I expect now a refund for both my checks - so that would be $17.53 x 2 = $35.06 total refund to me.Business Response Our CEO spoke with [redacted] via telephone on Wednesday evening (8/6) and we have mailed a check in the amount of $35.06. We believe that we have addressed the complaint in a manner that is satisfactory to [redacted].Consumer Response I did indeed speak with the CEO on Aug 6. He was extremely helpful, attentive and did resolve the outstanding issues to my satisfaction. I believe the events in my original complaint are not the normal practices for this company. The CEO was very caring and supportive.... and, again, apologetic about my experience. After my conversation, I decided that this business does care about it customers and does strive to do the right thing. I would have no problem using their services in the future. Thank you to everyone who assisted me with this issue. And THANK YOU personally to the CEO for taking the time to speak with me at length. Final Consumer Response
