Here is what she has alleged and I will respond below Customer’s Statement of the Problem: I backed Pakems on *** for $and in return was to receive pair of the pakem shoesThis was June 16, when I pledged the moneyTrue and it is clear on *** that sometimes it
takes longer to get product than expected. I have been incontact with the owner and she had some financial problems and could not get the shoes made for some of the backers She is right about my financial struggles. All of the shoes are made for all of the backers. They are sitting at my factory overseas. With the *** money and investor money I was able to pay the factory a deposit to get the shoes produced. However, the investor that agreed to pay the remainder due has run into financial issues and now cannot pay for the shoes. I am trying everything I can to get a new investor and pay for the shoes Some backers got shoes and some did notI did not As part of the campaign, some backers purchased my OLD model shoes that I had in inventory for $and everyone who purchased those shoes received them However, Pakems is still selling their shoes on their website and if you go to ***, you can buy them there as well I am doing a pre-sale of the same shoes that are at the factory. I am not charging credit cards and state that the shoes won't be sent for awhile and are backordered I emailed and even called the owner to request a refund and am not getting results I never received an email or a phone call. However, I could have missed the calls and emails. I'm not going to take the time to look through my phone records. All of my time has been spent trying to figure out the situation. She published a video on *** indicating she has no money at allYet, someone is making money from the Pakem site and *** The audacity that she is calling me a liar that I don't have money at all is sickening to me considering how I am living - I HATE living the life I am living right now and wouldn't wish this on anyone. I am destitute. I moved into an apartment because the first month's rent was free. I don't have the money to pay for next months rent. I am a single mom and doing everything I can to work this out. I have been selling my furniture, jewelry, everything I can to make money to live. I am now looking for a way to make some money on the side because I don't have a choice. I have borrowed money from my parent's credit card and that's not an option any longer. I have put every dime I had in the company. I have some OLD Pakems on the website and I am selling them. However, the approximately $I get every two weeks does not cover food, rent, medical expenses, etc. Even though I have to deal with this negativity, I am still sacrificing everything to figure this out. It is awful what has happened to me with this investor and taken a tremendous toll on my emotionally and financially.
