Review: I took in 4 pairs of pants to be altered. Numerous problems arose:
In total, I was charged $145.80 (the entire bill which included two other altered items was $217.71)
Along with the receipt, each item of clothing has a number on paper stapled to the item to identify it with the matching number on the receipt. However, as explained below, the company messed up the numbering.
The first pair of pants was not altered whatsoever, but I was still charged for it. It was dry cleaned with the matching jacket I had given to them to dry clean, and the pants were returned to me with the dry cleaning I had picked up on an earlier date than the pick-up for my altered pants. Again, I was charged for the alteration and when I took the pants in to correct the charge (Asking for a reimbursement) they refused, saying the number on the pants refereed to a separate dry cleaning charge and that I wasn't charged for the alteration, but I was, given that I only provided them with four pair of pants and there are four pair of pants on the receipt.
The second pair of pants in dispute were taken in but they only took in the sides ("tapered") and did not take in the waist. However, I was charged for the waist take-in. The first woman I spoke with remembered me and said she remembered the pair of pants. I then pointed out to the manager the places where they had taken in the sides of the pants. I no longer had the numbered label on the pants themselves and the manager called me a liar, said those weren't the pants brought in, and he would not fix my pants by taking them in the way they were supposed to be. He also refused to reimburse me for what I had paid, even though the woman had previously verified that she had worked on those pants.
The third pair of pants also did not have the paper number attached but again, the woman confirmed she worked on them and you could clearly see where she had cut them. However, while they again did not fit (I could not even button the pants), the manager refused to reimburse me or take the clothes back to be fixed at no charge.
The fourth pair of pants was altered correctly.
The manager raised his voice continuously towards me and called me a liar, refused to help me in any way, and was beyond lacking in customer service in any way. They charged me for services they did not fulfill and would not make me whole in any way. He was rude, nasty, and cheated me out of over $100.00.Desired Settlement: I would like to be refunded the amount of the three pairs of pants I was charged. I had initially just asked them to fix them, but since they refused to take them back and do the work that I had paid for initially, I was forced to take them to another alterations place to have them fixed.
