I am rejecting this response because:Neither me nor my mom received any notice other than the "final" noticeI asked *** to contact me regarding the estimate and he never didSo interest and late charges will not be paid as we were never notifiedYou keep stating you have tried to contact us multiple times but that is untrueYou still don't seem to grasp that we are only going to pay for tasks that were doneYou are charging for painting baseboards which was not doneYou are charging for installation of two full height cabinets that are sitting in the middle of the dining roomYou are charging for milling baseboard which was never done, etcyou keep stating that my Mom has a contractThat's all well and good but Palace breached said contract February 2nd when she was moved into an uninhabitable structureIt clearly states under terms and conditions item Work, The work shall be completed in a reasonable time given the circumstances"Substantial Completion" means owner can reasonably occupy or use the structure for intended purposesKinda hard to do when your sink is in the middle of the hall, no stair lift to assist with stairs if neededMy mom has a hard time with stairs and it is a necessity sometimes, no access to the fridge, no stove, no microwave, no way to even fill her water pitcherYou were fired February 4th and were instructed not to do any work other than fix what was not done correctlyPalace continued to slip in unauthorized work when they were there only to fix problem items and I have email correspondence stating as such in multiple emails multiple timesThe money that we have or have not received from the insurance company has no relevance to Palace other than to pay for work completedThe remaining monies are allocated for another contractor to come in and finish what Palace did not for multiple reasonsYou want everything and that isn't going to happenYou are only going to get what you are entitled toYou keep stating that all I want to do is go to court, when it's the oppositeYOU keep threatening with courtI have a strong case and have no problems defending usIf it does go to court then my counter suit will include the cabinets, which will entail countertops etcMold remediation from water leak that went on for over a monthDisclosure of air sampling results, lift samples and quotes from other contractors for remediation at that timeI am going to be real generous and offer you 6,and can cut a check todayThats totally in your favorThat's paying for items you did not perform and eliminating credits due and cleaningDo the math, pretty good dealHopefully we can resolve this todayThanks

[redacted] has been submitted his disputes to our invoice. We have had multiple contacts and attempted contacts with [redacted] and his Mother [redacted] (who our contract is with and who is the owner of the property where work was done) regarding the work completed at their home. We...
have already credited back to the Shafers more than $800 for work not completed by us due to being kicked off of the job. After multiple attempts to come to a resolution with [redacted] and collect payment for work completed with no movement, we sent a final notice to the property owner and who signed our contract, [redacted] that since we have not received any good faith payments for work completed in December 2015 and we were unable to come to any agreement with her son we would be forced to file a suit in small claims and upon such filing, we would seek to recover interest and court costs per the terms of our contract. We also reached out to [redacted] to offer a final credit but he refused to hear any offer of credit. It is unfortunate that situations sometimes come to a place where no settlement is possible and action in court is necessary. We have verified that all items on our bill were completed and the amounts from our estimate were used by his insurance company as a basis to pay out his claim.In response to this complaint, we intend to reach out to [redacted] 1 final time to offer again a final settlement credit and come to resolution before filing our small claims action on Monday.
