Issue on safety guidelines for Covid 19
Palace has been remodeled and it’s definitely much improved with a touch of class... I’ve enjoyed going there for 20+ years.. then came Covid.
All the guidelines are posted and everyone has masks on when they enter But a lot of people take them off and leave them off for the purpose of drinking and smoking and that flat out defeats the whole purpose of having any guidelines at all! People disregard the fact that the reason there’s no chair at a machine is to make sure one is at least 6 ft from anyone and they just stand and play the machine anyway violating the guidelines with a Little l could care less attitude...within a foot of the person next to them. People gather at the bars, they are loud with masks off for drinking as well as those on the floor. If they’d just pull down their mask and take a drink and then pull it back up it would be fine but NO.. it’s like it’s their excuse to keep it off. People smoking are the WORST and during this pandemic NOONE SHOULD BE ABLE TO SMOKE ANYWHERE! It’s the worst way to spread any kind of disease let alone it spreads horrid crap just from the secondary smoke issue PERIOD!
How can anyone in their right mind defend such behavior? I know at least 250 people who will no longer go into Palace for these very reasons and I am one of them! Palace owners WAKE UP! Do You want to be closed down PERMANENTLY? use your God given brains and BAN SMOKING and enforce the guidelines by TELLING PEOPLE to keep the mask on at all times except for 5 seconds to take a drink! COME ON!

I called the hotel to see why they charged me $for a room that I wasn't suppose to pay for until either 01/or 01/ Hotels.com gave my credit card information to Palace Station Hotel and they charged me $without me knowingI called and spoke with the front desk manager who was rude, and advised that they will refund the money and it would take 3-daysI asked to speak to manager and she advised no one was available and she would have Todd the manager give me a call backTodd called me and was also rude, he told me that them giving my money back was a courtesy, when in all actuality its what they where supposed to doAfter a long conversation of him trying to talk over me he advised that I should call my bank and they could request to speak to him and he could see if they could speed the refund process upI asked Todd to hold while I call the bank he agreed, and once I called the bank Todd left the callNo person who I talked to was any helpHorrible Customer

Palace Station is trying to charge me cancellation fees for a free room offer they gave me
I got an email from Station Casinos that said I got three free nights at any of their casinos for June I booked the three nights (28-June)On June, I became ill and couldn't make the trip to Las VegasI called immediately and was told that I would now be charged for room rate (at highest rate possible - even though the my rate was zero) for cancelling less than hours in advanceTheir reservation website did not show any hour cancellation requirementIn fact, their booking website is very deceptive to the elderly, in my opinionI cancelled almost hours in advance (more than the industry norm for Las Vegas of hours)The practices by Station Casinos appears to be very, very deceptive to meLuckily, I now know to never go to a Station Casino again

Poor customer service following inadequate/misleading product
I am a Las Vegas localI have stayed at The Palace Station Tower without incident and purchased rooms for friends and family to stay there as well
During my last booking I was offered a room at the Courtyard and was very dissatisfied with the roomThere was a horrible smell walking from the casino to the courtyardThere was construction going on outside of my window in the early morning hoursThe sheets bedding bed and pillows were uncomfortableThere was what appeared to be a dried booger on the shower curtain!
The worst of this was when we issued a complaint to the customer service desk upon checking outWe came in contact with four service members all of whom were less than welcomingWe asked to speak with a manager Lana who also was unable to resolve our complaintIn fact she was completely unwilling due to the fact that "we had an opportunity to upgrade the room for $20."
Due to our previous experie

This is the crappiest hotel ive ever stayed in. The room stinks, there aren't any blankets (2 sheets only) the room is TINY. Our view is literally a wall. The dressers in our room are literally broken. I called the front desk and all they said is ok.. I am not paying for that. I checked in with a 3 year old and a 3 month old. They put me on the part of the hotel that doesn't have an elevator && put us on the second floor!!! We have to lug all of our stuff up flights of stairs to get to our room. The man at the front desk is very inconsiderate. I will NOT stay here again. Also when we books which was $300 for 3 nights, we were told of a $17 a night resort fee, which was fine and dandy, what we weren't aware of is when we arrived we would have to pay another $100 deposit on this [redacted] room, for lack of a better word. So now we are in $450 dollars On this crappt room! I CANNOT SAY THIS ENOUGH, DO NOT STAY HERE!
