They have a pretty good pitch but are drastically over-burdenedEven if you don't have a problem paying $**/month for .5m/s speeds you'll have a problem knowing you have a shared bandwidth with anybody else around youWorst of all there is a a priority system, meaning that if numero uno on this list has the same internet speeds as you they can max their bandwidth etcout, leaving you with slim pickingsMy neighbor who is a quarter of a mile closer to the tower can run [redacted] without a buffer and have two other computers on the networkWhile I can barely watch videos on [redacted] at ***p without having to waitThey're very unorganized in my area and during maintenance will forget to turn service back on ex post factoI get frequent interrupts in connection that may last a couple seconds to a few minutes, and after about three years with their service and countless service calls I have come to the conclusion that it's just themAfter each and every call my service would either improve or they'd push the blame on me, but none of them had the heart to say "It's just really bad internet." then a few days later service would deteriorateThey're generally very nice people, but they're trying to sell a service that's growing slower than the companyI know people usually only write reviews when they're frustrated with the service, but I honestly just want to put out a warningWeigh your options VERY carefully, this service if fine for checking emails and reading articles but bites the dust with anything elseYou'll owe them at least $ [redacted] the first month with installation, so make sure it's the service you really want

If you're not receiving the internet you are paying for there are quite a few ways TH will tell you it's not their faultWith this ISP you can expect frequent drops in connection around supper time, and on average at least one drop per hourUnless your problem is severe TH will claim that there is nothing they can do, and even then they will claim there is very little they can doPaying out the *** for internet in the boonies is bad enough, what's worse is an ISP that no longer cares about your experienceI fear they care about nothing else other than the cash flow they get every month from exceptional customersEvery single time I call in they tell me it's my router's fault, even though I disconnected it three years ago with their adviceThey tell me my computer is infected with a host of viruses, and that I should be worried about my private informationBut I think worst of all is when they tell me there is absolutely nothing they can do, especially when the system they use to test connectivity gives you an A+ readout regardless of the situationStay far away from these people

Very happy with my service. I've been a customer for nearly as long as the company has been in business. I understand with technology comes challenges from time to time. Whenever I have had an issue, it has been handled professionally and quickly. I just upgraded my speed. I love having unlimited bandwidth to watch movies, etc.

Weigh your options VERY carefully, this service if fine for checking emails and reading articles but bites the dust with anything else. You'll owe them at least $[redacted] the first month with installation, so make sure it's the service you really want.

I turned to Total Highsped in 2012 when I finally gave up on Hughesnet. At first I was pretty happy with it. Yes, it's slow, but I was used to that. It was at least stable. When there was an outage I'd call and be told that there was a problem on my tower, etc... The issue would always be handled in an hour or so. In the last year something changed. It's no longer their problem when I lose connectivity. Even when I connect my computer directly, bypassing the router, they tell me it's the router. My internet goes out at least once a day. It slows down considerably more often than that. When you're only getting 76 kbps in the first place (for $75/month) that doesn't leave you much to work with.
It's starting to affect my livelihood. I work on AutoCAD and have always been able to download the new programs and updates. I haven't been able to do that in a year. My software is getting really out of date. I'm going to have to take my computer somewhere there is good internet to download new software.
I'm very frustrated and don't know what to do.
