I thought Palazzo was a great place to live. The property is beautiful and the apartments are very spacious, but I was fooled by this. I never saw my unit, just pictures of the floor plan and the model. When my move in date came, I was geeked to move in. The lady in the office was really nice and helpful, she even mentioned that I could put any repair quest on the back of the walk through sheet. Big mistake! When I got into my unit, it resembled a death trap! Broken stove, cracked microwave, stopped up sink with overflowing black water, gas leak, broken and leaking toilet, broken washer and dryer and resurfacing that left a horrible smell. I literally put in 6 or 7 work orders. I couldn't move into my unit for 3 weeks. I asked the manager of the property to push the move in date back to accommodate the repairs and she refused. I explained that my funds would be altered because I had to live elsewhere for three weeks. The manager offered me a 100 gift card for my troubles. My troubles were just beginning, I then received a court summons to appear in court with a eviction notice stappled to it. I was evicted and owed 1000 for a two week stay, and not to mention they kept my 800 security deposit. Now they are claiming that I owe almost 5000 dollars and I asked for what. No one has sent me a breakdown of the charges, but feel the need to pass the buck throughout the corporation. Their third party collector claims that the charges are from my contractual agreement, but in the agrrement it states that the unit will be ready and available for lease. They baited me from day one... This place a complete rip off and a headache.... Save yourself and move somewhere else!!!
