Review: We entered into a debt forgiveness agreement with [redacted] to pay a lower amount on our credit cards. He was supposed to notify the credit bureaus that our accounts were paid off. We are attempting to take advantage of the HARP program but are unable to do so because [redacted] refuses to remove the debt from our credit reports. We paid this debt several years ago. We have called him numerous times he now refuses to take the calls. We have left messages for his supervision [redacted] he too refuses to respond. We are only trying to utilize the programs our government has put in place for the homeowners struggling today. We honored our agreement he too should uphold his part of the agreement. Our loan was paid it should be reported as paid off.Desired Settlement: Notify the credit bureaus that our loans were paid off as per the agreement.

Review: My father and I both have an account at Palisades Federal Credit Union. We have had an account for close to 2 years and they provided us with a credit line which they call courtesy pay which allows us to borrow up to 800 dollars per account which we have been doing for the past year without a problem. We always pay it in full every month and pay the fees that it inccurs. We have grown to depend on this feature to help us since the recent stroke that my father had it helps us stay a flow. Without and warning a person by the name of [redacted] who works in the main office removed this feature and cancelled both my father and I debit card. So my mother and I went to the branch to speak to a manager and we were told nothing can be done and they gave us the retail operations manager [redacted] phone number to speak to and after numerous attempts she would continue to say she would have to get back to us on the matter with no resolution. She would also say the feature was not meant to be use the way my father and I was using it but at no point in the past year we were notified in a letter or phone call we were misusing the feature.Desired Settlement: I would like to have the courtesy pays activated on both accounts and have new debit cards issued to both accounts

The member's debit card was closed and the courtesy pay feature was removed due to a violation of our Membership and Account Agreement.

Members with payments covered by Courtesy Pay agree to pay the overdrawn balance within ten (10) business days. If any remaining negative balance is not paid within the ten (10) day limit, future Courtesy Pay privileges may be denied and the member may incur legal fees to recover the loss. Both of your accounts had negative balances for over the ten (10) day limit.
