Called at 11:35AM on July 2, to request service Technician arrived at 1PM, and heat pump was back in service by 2PM Price was very reasonable
I recently had need of an AC service from Palm Air -the tech they promptly sent was Steven--I cannot tell you what a delight he was! He was efficient, knowledgeable, courteous, and all around pleasant a young man!!-- He quickly fixed the problem-informed me of its possible cause & steps to take if it occurred again--he was again an all-around delight to be with! Palm Air arrived on time with my Carrier Air conditioner boxed in original box. They were very professional and neat. After they were finished with the install they cleaned up and you wouldn't of known anyone installed an air conditioner. Ask for [redacted] for your sales person. You won't be sorry.
My AC broken down and asked PAlm Air ot come and look at it as this unit was installed by them 2 yrs ago and the unit was under warranty. They said it will be 488 for labor and replacement materials will be covered by warranty. The tech showed up and said it was a faulty capacitor which costs $10 and then added another $112 for a nice even $200. They said it does not matter, $88 was for showing up and then $112 for another 15 mins work to replace the capacitor. when I questioned this, the rep on the phone started saying that they did this as a favor for us and they have to come back again next day since they did not have the right capacitor and they will not charge me again for that. Here you go, they decided to charge me upfront for something they found out after the fact that they had to make another trip to replace the little capacitor. They were chaging the customer to cover their anticipated cost.
I had referred to 3 of my friends who had all installed through them, but never again. Very disappointed with this cheating and I feel cheated by Palm Air.
