Shady Business
Shady Business,
I gave Palm City Yachts a $500.00 deposits for a new outboard engine .
I made the purchase on 8/10/2021 they strung me along for about 7 months saying because of the Covid, Next thing I knew they shut down the location and stole my $500.00 deposit.
These people are not reputable, I would not recommend giving them any money up front or doing any business with them, they are a bunch of crooks.

Horrible Boat dealer. I called yesterday after leaving an inquiry on a used pontoon boat they were advertising. ***, the salesman took down my information and said that he would get back to me first thing in the morning. He never called but another person did and this person also said that she would get back to me. I decided to drive out to the dealership and take a look at the boat and when I got there found ***. He said, "oh you are the Sea Fox guy" and that he had talked to someone and that in order to make the deal work on the trade in that they would have to price the boat at retail at over 60000.00. ...a 2015 Bentley Pontoon 240/243 Cruise. this was the reason why he didn't call me. He was very dismissive and seemed uninterested in selling me a boat. I guess that is why they didn't list the price online as opposed to many of their other listings with the price...seemed very shady and I was made to feel very uncomfortable there. I would stay far away from this dealership.

I purchased a boat from them....The boat itself is fine...The issue I had was with the trailer..It was never set up proper for the boat and gave me issues when trying to launch the boat at the ramp...It sat too high on the trailer and I actually had to push it off the trailer even though the water level was way past the the tires and I had to stand in the water to do so...I called them and the service writer told me to bring it in at a date we settled on and they would take care of it...Keep in mind I had been in contact with the local rep for the company that makes the trailers and sent him pictures and he agreed that it needed adjustment and that it looks like it was never set up properly...It should also be noted that the boat was originally purchased from them and traded in and that is when I purchased it so they were the ones who set it up in the first place....I left the boat there for 2 days and still it hadn't been touched...the service writer told me they would have it by noon the day I dropped it off and when I called that day he said they were having trouble adjusting it and it was taking longer than they thought it would and pick it up at noon the following day...When I got there it hadn't been touched at all...he told me they were all at lunch and he would see when it would be done when lunch was done...When I came back around 1 pm the service mnger told me they had to spray the bolts with because they were rusted and so they could work on it...lie 2 ...I looked at it and there was no visible residue of any kind from any type of lube or penetrating oil or anything else for that matter...At that point the service writer started telling me about some estimate he had for me to do the job that he told me weeks ago they were going to take care of...At that point I asked for the owner and I got the general manager and he told me the he would have the owner call me...I'm still waiting...I was told the estimate was for about 3 hours...I left at that point and took my boat with me...I did the job at the boat ramp myself ....It took me 1 and 1 half hours to do and I have never worked on a trailer ever in my life ...So much for being an honest dealer...I bought 1 boat from them it will also be the last...They were fine when I was buying it from them..Once the sale is over..your done...One of the worst customer service experiences I have had...I can handle mistakes and delays but the lies is what got me. I can never trust them to do a quality job with a boat that someday in bad weather my life depends on to carry me and the family home safely.
