2010 [redacted] , my mechanic fixed front & rear brake pad dated 4/18/16. That time there was not parking brake problem. After 35 day dated 5/23/16 [redacted] complain about parking brakes. My mechanic checked and asked for leave the vehicle. We will check and tell you the problem and give... you your estimate. Same way I talk and explain to the husband. But he want to fix parking brakes free if he want we still give him service.Copy of repair bill attached

I am rejecting this response because:Prior to getting work done on all brakes, the emergency brake worked fineAfter getting the work done on the car, the emergency brake stopped workingWe brought the car back to the mechanic and the service center refused to look at the car and advised us to drive the car with the emergency brake activated until it "catches"The mechanic refused to correct the problem or take any responsibility for itThe emergency brake was working perfectly fine until we had brake work done on all four brakes by the mechanicThe fact that the mechanic refused to look at the car only shows that he knew they had responsibility in the failureAdvising that we drive around with the emergency brake on, which is completely unsafe and at a minimum would wear down our brake pad suggests that he either doesn't know what he is doing as a mechanic (which would explain why they broke the emergency brake) or that he purposefully wanted us to damage the car further so that he could say the emergency brake stopped working due to driving with it activatedIt makes no sense why he wouldn't look at the car
