We, at Palma Construction, take pride in providing the best customer satisfaction.
In regards to the complaints that are...

being mentioned in the case description,
I am obligated to take responsibility if the customer is not happy with the work that was completed.
However, in my defense, before any work is performed it is a policy of Palma Construction that we talk
with each client in regards to payment for services. On the invoice/contract that Palma Construction uses
for every job it clearly states on second page, "Any extra work or materials that is not listed will be charged
accordingly." This was agreed on prior to starting the job with the client and he happily accepted and understood.
To make sure that my clients understand the terms and what is going to be done I have them sign the contract.
I can provide this document if necessary. I also give a signed copy to my clients.
In regards to the air conditioning unit that my client is complaining about. Palma construction moved the unit from
the previous park to the new park. We do not sub contract any licensed air conditioning professionals, therefore, I recommended to my client to re install his unit using a professional that knows he is installing it correctly.
I did in fact recommend to my client to replace his stairs because they were hazardous and that someone could get hurt
badly. The reason being is that the stairs are made of wood and during the move I noticed that they were in very bad condition with holes and rotting from all sides. I mentioned to him that if a city inspector was to come and check the home that the stairs would be an issue that would not pass. This was simply a recommendation and he declined my services to repair the stairs. He said he would fix them himself.
In regards to the paint that was used on the skirting of the house. The paint used was a primer because my client stated that he was going to paint the house himself in the future. The park requires when a new home is moved in that it must be painted. To be in compliance with the park rules I painted the skirting of the home. I did this even though it was not in the contract.
If the client would like additional work done Palma Contstuction will be more than happy to have your business.
Any work to be done will be discussed thoroughly and agreed on before any work is performed.
However, just like the contract states, "Any extra work or materials that is not listed will be charged
accordingly."
In the future Palma Contstruction will be more detailed in the contracts and in our explanations to the clients.
In doing so, we hope to avoid any future discrepancies between the client and Palma Construction.

I called Palma Construction for a kitchen remodel estimate. Felipe arrived on time for the estimate appointment. We explained what we were looking for and he showed us different options for cabinets and flooring. After a long process and of looking over different options, we agreed to proceed with the remodel. We signed the contract and the following day the remodel began. Felipe and his team were quick to remove all the old cabinets and flooring. While they were there, we also added the lighting and removal of the popcorn ceiling in the dining room. They arrived daily in time and were always ready to keep moving the project forward. Felipe and his team promised to have the kitchen ready for us to use for the Christmas holiday. At the end of the week, the kitchen was ready for us to use. We understand there were details that still needed to be done and they would return but the kitchen was definitely the main topic of conversation at our Christmas dinner. We also agreed to do the flooring in the living room and hallways. After the holidays, they were back ready to continue the flooring and finish the small details in the kitchen. Another 3 days and our project was complete. The floors were looking great, walls painted and total kitchen remodel! Felipe and the Palma Construction team were great! They were quick but still paid attention to detail. I Highly recommend them for any project needs. I will definitely be calling them back for future projects. Thank you again Palma Construction!
