We needed a general contractor to come to our home to replace the kitchen ceiling, replace the bathroom & laundry room floors because of water damage. So I found what I thought was an honest contractor from the Nextdoor app. He talked a good talk & sounded very professional. He said he would have the job done in 2 days. Well 2 days turned into almost a month. He & another guy started around the 2nd week of January and we're still dealing with their mess. During the process he left a hole in the linoleum in laundry room from sliding the dryer back while the floor was still wet underneath. He had to come back to replace the linoleum. He finally completed all the work and he was paid but about a week later, we had to call him back because the ceiling in the kitchen looked uneven & ugly. He came back out to spackel the ceiling again but never returned to sand it down & repaint it. He told my husband he would be back in 24 hours once it dries. He also took the paint can & said he would buy more paint for the ceiling. We have been trying to get in touch with him & he still hasn't returned our calls.
