Good Afternoon, Thank you for writing USA TODAY. Our records show the current card was decline for payment on 1/9/2015. USA TODAY system can charge the card but by day end if there arent funds on the cards it will decline as it did on 1/9/2016. Please submit a new card or you can pay by check...

I am rejecting this response because:This account was debited satisfactorily by USA Today against said card.  I can provide electronic validation of this debit of $14.14 on 01/07/16, by USA Today employee successfully.  When signing up for this PROMO by Brenda of USA Today, I was never informed of the EZ pay requirement, nor was it offered to me by USA Today.   It is not my responsibility to correct your CSR training competence or lack thereof.  Debby corrected the error,debited the cars for 14.14 USD and per my request, I requested the account closure and cease delivery of my remaining subscription PROMO offer.  I suggest you gather the facts in a proper and professional manner to coincide with mine before you erroneously respond to this message.  Matter of fact, you owe me a refund for 6 weeks worth of papers.
