[I called yesterday and left a message. This company still refuses to compensate me for my damaged sidewalk. How many times is it wise to not accept their offer?. I don't want to end up with no money at all. Case # [redacted]  thanks, [redacted]]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I believe Mr. [redacted] misunderstood what the $600.00 was going to repair. I called Mr. [redacted] on January 4th, 2016 to complain about the large crack that had been sloppily filled with mortar instead of using the "tuck point" method to fix the cracks in the front of my house. I also explained that I was upset about the 3 large chips and several smaller ones he had put in my new sidewalk. He used a back-hole to dig up a 4 ft. x 14 ft. area in front of the front porch. This machine damaged my sidewalk and I told him I would have to replace my sidewalk which is a little over 1 year old. He was surprised that I was  upset about the damage to my new sidewalk.  The main issue I called him about was the tiny crack in the front of my house that he made much bigger. I have contacted a mason to determine what can be done about this. The mason said the bricks would have to be replaced because of the  damage that was done to repair the crack. The mason told me that if the "tuck point"  method had been done correctly, with coloring agent mixed in with the mortar, it possibly would have been acceptable. But, with the mortar smeared on the bricks, the only way to make it look better is to replace that section of bricks. On my contract with The Cardinal Foundation & Waterproofing Co., it states that a "tuck point" method would be used to fix the cracks in the front of my house. The "tuck point" method was not used and therefore I have to hire a mason at a cost of $744.15 to replace the damaged bricks. At the time of my complaint on February 1st, I had not contacted a company that does masonry  work so I didn't know the cost to fix the damaged bricks. So, to make this customer less angry than I am at this time, I will accept $1344.15 to replace my sidewalk and the bricks in the front of my house so it doesn't look like an eyesore in my neighborhood.

see attachment for original.I received your letter with regards to Ms. [redacted] and certainly appreciate your help in this matter. While I certainly regret that Ms. [redacted] is not happy, I would like to pint out that she was told that additional piers might be needed once the foundation was exposed....

This is also stated in her letter. In addition, when a foundation is supported with piers, additional cracks both inside the house and in the brick veneer may open up. This is stated on her Agreement. Lastly, she wants to get a mason to do some tuck pointing at a cost of $600.00 I agree with her that this would make the end result more attractive. For the sake of a good customer we would be willing to pay her the $600.00 as she stated in her letter. Sincerely,[redacted]

See attachment. We would be happy to mortar the two cracks on the inside of his garage wall. We would need Mr. [redacted] to clear any obstructions to allow us access.

See attachment for response. I received your letter dated 3/1/16 with regards to Ms. [redacted].In her previous letter she stated that it would be $600 to work on her brick. In her latest letter she states it would be $744.15. Again, to make the end result more attractive we would be willing to pay her a total of $744.15.Sincerely,
