I didn't lie about anything on my application and wasn't aware that there was a eviction on my creditI explained to them when we were looking at the model that I was let out of my lease due to mold and I can show proof that I had them check for moldSince I was believed to be let out of my lease I had no reason to disclose that I had a eviction on my creditHence why I left that section on the application blank when it stated check if applicableRevdex.comMESSAGE FROM BUSINESS:Complaint ID: ***Business: Palo Alto ApartmentsConsumer: *** ***Again, per our rental criteria and your rental application we cannot except anyone with an evictionThe rental/criminal section of the application was left blankWith that being blank it is considered falsifying an applicationDue to those standards the deposit is non-refundable

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID***, and have determined that this does not resolve my dispute.I have been accepted at an apartment community in IrvingHowever the unit willnot be available until July Therefore I am requesting to surrender mycurrent unit August This will allow me calendar days to move.I would also like to once more review the events that have passed:I submitted online requests for maintenanceI made multiple callsI made multiple emailsI expressed a willingness to compromise by transferring to a similar unit at current rentI sent certified letter requesting maintenanceI filed complaint with Revdex.comI requested to stay until september, to find a new placeand here has been the response I have received:all online requests were closed without actionrequests were denied via phonerequests were denied via emaila transfer would only be allowed with a 20% increase in rentcertified letter was ignoredRevdex.com complaint has largely been met with further denial of culpability from managementseptember request was deniedIn refusing these multiple maintenance requests, Palo Alto is in violation oflease agreementHowever instead of trying to rectify the situation, they aretrying to evict meNot only that, but they pre dated the eviction letter bydays, in attempt to get me out soonerThey have provided no cause for theeviction.I would urge them to think carefully on their response, as we are now talkingabout making someone homeless, someone who is willing and able to payinaddition their response will be public record through the Revdex.com site.I would further caution if they insist on going down this path I will pursuelegal action, to defend my reasonable right to residencyI trust they will makethe right decision in this matter.Regards,*** ***

In response to the complaint #[redacted] for apartment home #[redacted].  We have only received 2 work orders in the month of November. Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my dispute.
It appears they have fixed the problem with water, or that the problem fixed itself. I am happy to stay for now, however on May 24 they sent me a letter of eviction! The letter is dated May 20, with a move out date of July 20. If they wanted me to have this letter on the 20th, they should not have sent it 4 days later. I would prefer to stay at least until September, as 7 weeks is not much time to find a new place.

On Saturday 3/31 Mr [redacted] came to the property at 8:00 AM (before we opened) and saw the housekeepers at his unit and took it upon himself to go in to the unit, he saw that his stove was dirty and took a picture. At 10:00 AM he came to the office when we opened and immediately showed [redacted] the picture...

and demanded for a new stove. [redacted] let him know that wasn't possible and that [redacted] was out on property walking his unit as they spoke.  [redacted] came back and said the stove of course did not look like that because the housekeepers just finished cleaning.  Mr. [redacted] continued to bully the ladies in the office and demand new appliances. They called me and I told them not to move him in and to release him from his lease however his application fee, administration fee and application deposit were non- refundable. I sent the email this morning to Mr. [redacted] letting him know that due to his behavior and trespassing that we were releasing him from his lease (see email below). Mr [redacted] came in this morning to talk to me where I restated all the information above to him and gave him copies of the email his application and lease.  He then said he paid a $250 deposit for his electric and felt he should be reimbursed I told him he would need to dispute that with the electric company as I have nothing to do with that.  He took the information and sat in the parking lot for over an hour.  He came back in asking if he could move in and I told him no, we don't want residents that are not going to be happy and cause my staff grief. He then tired apologizing but arguing at the same time and I reiterated the same information again. Bottom line the housekeeper had 6 cleans Friday and one of the girls didn't show up (sick) so the other couldn't complete them all herself in one day and asked to come back early Saturday morning we told her yes, she did at 8:00 AM and Mr [redacted] walked a uncleaned unit which is why he felt he needed a new stove. Then he came to the office and bullied the girls because of it. The Email below was sent to Mr. [redacted] Monday, March 2 @ 8:32 AM  Mr. [redacted] I would like to start by saying we are sorry that you were not satisfied with the stove in your apartment that you were to move into Saturday 3/31.  However, with that said it has been brought to my attention that you illegally trespassed on to our private property several times and entered the unit while it was in process of the make ready.  No, one is allowed to enter any apartments while we have vendors and maintenance in the units and certainly without permission from out office staff. At this time we are choosing not to move forward with your move in here at Palo Alto. Per the TAA Application (see attached) we will not be refunding the application fee, application deposit or administration fee. Please refer to the Application Agreement on page 3 paragraph 5, 6 and 10 As well as the Disclousers page 3 paragraphs 1 and 2. We will however not hold you to the signed TAA lease agreement (see attached) we agree to release you from your obligation to Palo Alto per the reletting fee $616.25 and Early Termination (see attached) $616.25.

Complaint: [redacted] Still cant tell me why it's so high and and why am I just hearing bout rent not being accepted two months later or why they're not willing to work with me they want their money as soon as they can get it I'm upset because now next month's rent is going to be late because I have to pay this $1,000 and they're going to charge me more late fees
