I have dealt with this company since December of 2014, and have nothing but the highest praise for this company and its staff.
I own an 85 year old house that has required a lot of unexpected 'fixes'. From the (not so) simple replacement of a pipe to a full-scale excavation from the house to the town sewer, Action Auger/The Gentlemen Plumbers has done outstanding work. The day of the excavation, Kale and one of his team stayed until I got home from work that evening, to show me the extent of what they had completed and go over the next day's work plan. Additionally, they had saved me some money, and come up with a solution to an unexpected problem. Did I mention they had to dig up half of a firepit by themselves?
I have dealt with Matt(pipe), Jay(camera and augering), Kale,Kurt and Gage(excavation and pipe replacement) and have found them very professional, helpful and considerate. The administration/front desk staff are friendly and helpful as well.
As I say, cannot praise this company enough. Will recommend them and work with them for good.
My service technician, Alan [redacted], was courteous, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I would definitely recommend him to someone needing plumbing work.
I have been using The Gentlemen Plumbers services for a few years. Over all I have been satisfied. Recently the satisfied turned to very satisfied thanks to the technician sent to do the services, annual furnaces and, annual overall plumbing inspection.
The technician is Kurt whose only started at the company three months ago. Gentlemen Plumbers knew what they were doing when they hired him!
Kurt is courteous, knowledgeable, proficient, super-efficient and, professional while at the same time very supportive to his customer! What more can you ask for?
I have a newly renovated older home where the main sewer drain is undetectable. Given the age of the home and other factors, the seriousness to not scope the main sewer pipe is distressing. And Kurt is distressed as well! Now, bear in mind technicians from Gentleman plumbers have been conducting the same services as above for a few or more years. Not one tech showed concern when the sewer drain wasn't easily visible and accessible. They simply (in my opinion) looked past it even though it is within my service agreement. For that I am annoyed yet not annoyed with the past techs. All techs have been friendly, knowledgeable and provided good service.
Kurt recommended I change my washer/dryer hoses. I followed his recommendation. When doing the hoses Kurt noticed a trap door behind the washer. Back out to the truck he went to re-fetch his drill. Behind the trap door was the main sewer. Another trip out to the truck for the special camera to video pipes...Kurt carefully watched the video every meter the camera went through, all the way down to the sewer drain.
I have and will recommend The Gentlemen Plumbers to friends and colleagues although I will especially recommend Kurt, the technician.

I had Action Auger come out to fix a leak in a main pipe. It was a emergency type situation that required the city to turn off the main water line. The experience was smooth and was happy with the price guarantee as the stress level for how long it was going to take became a non issues. When dealing with the city that could have been a very frustrating situation as the city gave no time line on when they would be back.

Extremely overpriced service. Charged me over $200 to essentially do nothing at all. I was able to save $20 by signing up to their club and then immediately cancel. Stay far away from this company.
I was impressed by the professional attitude. Their service was prompt. The technician was knowledgable and professional. I appreciated his clear explanation of the problem with my water heater and his explanation of what was needed to repair it. The repair work was done in a timely manner and I especially appreciated the fact that he left the area clean of debris when he completed the job.
Our main toilet blocked due to ice blocking the pipes. When I plunged the toilet, all the liquid pumped into the bathtub. It was not a pretty sight. Living in a mobile home, Charlie the technician had to crawl under the mobile to thaw out the pipes. He was very friendly and courteous and didn't complain about crawling under the mobile. He not only cleared the blockage but cleaned everything up afterwards, which I was very appreciative of. He recommended some changes to the toilet, explained the cost and I told him to go ahead and fix. After all the work was done, he went throughout the mobile checking all other plumbing, the furnace and the water heater, giving recommendations as to what should be done in the future. I was very impressed by his professionalism and friendly attitude. Thank you Charlie for going up and beyond my expectations. Would certainly recommend this company and will be using their services in the future.

Our Plumber, Richard, was professional and courteous. He ensured we understood the work he was performing and explained where our money was going. Richard did an excellent job and didn't leave until everything was done right. We highly recommend hiring him.
