I recently attended a sales presentation at the Welk Resort in San Diego, CAOne of the perks of this presentation was a free tablet, for which I followed the steps provided from the Gunn Marketing (Customer Choice Rewards program) only to receive a rejection letter stating that this offer is now null and voidI understand that with these marketing incentives often times companies bank on making the process very cumbersome and confusing in an effort to minimize the conversionAfter reading the reason for which my request was rejected it further proves that the tactics used to do so are very misleading and unclearMy submission was rejected because payment was sent via "personal check," however the wording on the original instructions was that payment can be made with a "bank check or money order." The check I submitted is indeed issued from Chase Bank and thus qualifies as a "bank check." To reiterate my earlier point the wording on the instructions should state that personal checks will not be accepted, but I understand if this was clearly stated that Gunn Marketing would probably end up having to honor more of these rewards and that's clearly not what they intend to do
