We had our house renovated in summer of 2015. We had no idea on how this is going to be. You hear stories about nightmares of dealing with contractors and projects not being finished. With Pangione he delivered on his promises and finished the project as agreed with good workmanship and quality. We are very satisfied.

We recently did an add-a-level with Dave Pangione and I couldn't have been more pleased. We needed to overhaul the entire second floor and open up the current footprint on the first floor. Th scope of the job was not to be taken likely as it affected the entire house top to bottom. My husband lined up six contractors to interview and each one was talented, but we didn't find the right fit until we met Dave. He spoke about projects he had done and ones he was working on currently. There was something about how he renovated his childhood home and the passion about his work that came out in that interview. Then his ideas were perfectly aligned with ours. He was even able to hit the exact price point for us as well. The work was started on time and truly took the 13 weeks that he had said it would. Dave was on top of the permit process and what we needed to pick out and have ready while being the utmost professional. He even referred us to some excellent vendors for our cabinets, countertops, new fireplace, etc. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. We still have walkers, runners, and neighbors stop by and ask who did our house and ask for his number. I would say that we would use him again in a heartbeat, but he did such a good job overhauling the house. I don't think we'll need him again for a very, very long time.

I was looking around for some ideas on expanding and what to do with my cape cod home. I had a bunch of contractors in and the prices were really out of control and their ideas sometimes seem hard to understand from a preliminary standpoint. I thought for sure we were going to have to sell and move based on that alone. Than I stumbled across Pangione developers videos on line and began to watch. From the videos alone everything looked really good. I thought if someone is going to video the construction on my home and show people,customers, public, he's gotta do a good job right ? I was right everything went really well plus the price was very competitive. Dave always took my calls and handled thing with a real sense of care and professionalism. We added three bed a laundry room and two baths plus opening up our main level. A lot a work. Pangione developers made it seem very easy and everything went smooth. We are very happy with the job and are going to use Pangione again to add some room to our kitchen and Renovate sometime in the future. A ton of people , neighbors have complimented us on our home and asked for Pangione developers contact info to help them with their home improvement needs. I have a young family and didn't want to be out of our home for long, the entire job was complete in an amazingly quick period of time. We definitely picked the right guy for the job. Dave and his team were professional in their approach to the scope of work that was to be performed on my house - it was a cape cod and we did an addition going up adding a few bedrooms and a bath.
We appreciate the extra space that we now have and the due diligence that was given to our project.
Dave has the knowledge and experience in the field and even though at times we may have agreed to disagree on certain things, we always found a way to work around it and get things resolved.
Things can get stressful especially with kids in the house and with the time it takes to get your project completed but in the end it is worth the effort and wait.

One year ago we were four weeks away from completing our home remodel. For my family this was an exciting time but also a hard time. Pangione Developers Inc was our choice of contractor. David told us it would take ~3months start to finish, with a specific budget. He was finished on time, on budget, and the work was spectacular. He quickly accommodated all of our requests throughout the project, there were absolutely NO surprises... we couldn't be happier with the work he provided.

We recently completed a project with Pangione Developers Inc (PDI) to transform our old 1950's cape cod home into a modern colonial style residence. From the start of the process it was clear that working with PDI was going to be different than the other contractors that we received bids from. PDI's knowledge and command of "add a level" projects is nothing short but impressive. To support this statement you simply need to check out their YouTube channel which has around 700 short videos showcasing various stages of their projects (including a number of videos of my home).

The communication and responsiveness from PDI throughout the project was excellent. There was never a moment where we were left wondering what was going on. The coordination and scheduling of the trades was also very impressive. There were days where PDI had 5 separate crews working simultaneously on site.

The speed and quality of craftsmanship were also very important to us as we are expecting a child and needed the project completed quickly but done well. This is an area where PDI shines. They removed the old roof (along with our entire second floor), built the new 2nd floor structure and then had the new roof installed (fully shingled) and sheeting completed within 5 days! The entire project took only about 12 weeks and we could not be happier with the outcome. A number of our friends/family have visited since completion and were absolutely stunned with the transformation. A few even encouraged us to submit before and after photos to magazines as it could easily be featured in one.

Overall, I would highly recommend considering PDI if you are looking for any major construction project on your home. We have already recommended PDI to a number of our friends who are in similar situations with growing families that need more space.

We meet with several contractors and always had the feeling the job was just to big for them to handle. We never felt that way with Pangione it was all laid out clearly on the proposal which by the way was given in record time. No waiting, no hassles, always available to answer questions. Pangione built us our new beautiful home in record time 4-5 months all during one of the snowiest winters in New Jersey. Dave will stand by his work even after the job is done and paid in full.

I am writing this review almost 2 years past our construction start. Everyone writes reviews after a job is complete, so I wanted to write a review so everyone can see the quality of a completed job.
From the very first meeting with Pangione Developers everything ran very smoothly. We were treated with great respect on all our requirements to add –a-level to our Cape Cod home. They handled everything, the plans, and the permits. Everything was disclosed up front. As a fan of the home remodeling shows on TV, I was hesitate to do construction with 2 children and have things go wrong. I can honestly say the only thing that went wrong was with the city and zoning. But David Pangione took care of everything, he modified our plans without hesitation and without any inconvenience to us at all.
The job was done with respect and courtesy as to accommodate our family. I’m extremely particular and when I wanted something changed, he changed it! You can’t find many contractors that listen and do exactly what the client is asking for. David Pangione is that contractor! I know I probably drove him a bit crazy, but he never showed it and he always accommodating. He made the construction process stress free.
I have since recommended him to two others and will continue to recommend him. You will not be sorry using Pangione Developers. Quality – Well when your town’s building inspectors approaches your and says, “You have a great contactor, he really pays attention to detail and actually goes above code”. You know you are in good hands! It’s was very reassuring that I knew the job and workmanship that we received was Top Notch.

Pangione Developers completed an add-a-level, second story addition, and complete first floor home renovation at our home recently. Working with Pangione Developers was the best decision we could've made for this huge project. We would definitely recommend Pangione Developers and will use them again in the future if we decide to do any other home additions or remodeling.
To better understand our project, our house was a cape cod style that originally had two bedrooms and one bath on the second level. We decided to do an add-a-level job where we took off the entire second floor of the home and went vertical around the entire outer walls converting our house into more of a colonial style. We now have four bedrooms, two baths, and a laundry room on the second floor. We ended up going over our garage as well. Our master bedroom is huge and has a master bath with a huge double shower, two walk in closets, and a third closet. On the first floor, we gutted everything and turned it more into an open layout. A new kitchen (which is two and a half times bigger), new bathroom, added in a fireplace to the living room, all new hardwood flooring, new drywall, etc. The house has all new windows and a new front portico and stoop were put in. We now have central air and have separate HVAC systems for the first floor and second floor. Minus the basement, foundation, and outer first floor walls, everything in the house is brand new. We also now have a huge attic.
When we started the process, we did our research and met with a few [redacted] Contractors and other New Jersey general contractors to hear their ideas and to bid out the job. Dave Pangione had a phone conversation with us to get our ideas and was able to look online at our house to come up with ideas. Shortly there after, he met us at our house with a project bid and went through each and every step with us so we fully understood what the job would entail. By doing it this way, he was also able to answer any of our questions right away and also walked around our home with us to point things out.
Prior to receiving all of the bids, my wife really liked our interaction with Dave and felt he would be a good fit. His bid ended up being the lowest as well, which was a huge positive. We watched and reviewed his hundreds of YouTube videos to get a firm understanding of how his team works and what to expect. Having these videos was a huge comfort. No other companies have anything like this for you to see. We also followed up with other homeowners that were in the process of a home renovation project with Pangione Developers and one that was recently completed. The reviews we received from these individuals were fantastic. That sealed the deal with us. We selected Pangione Developers to be our home addition contractor.
Dave met with us in person and reviewed the entire contract, reading every word, so we understood everything. Dave then met with us, along with his architect to take measurements and discuss everything in the job so the plans would be as close to what we want on the first draft. We had a couple of changes but were amazed at how awesome the new second floor and first floor plans were. Dave and his architect made the changes quickly and got them over to the town once they were approved by us.
Pangione Developers was fast. They came in and turned the job around as quickly as possible. Most people thought I was crazy when I gave them the schedule and when the job would be completed. Most laughed and said good luck, you'll be lucky to be in by the holidays. Well, Pangione delivered when they said they would. Our family and neighbors were amazed. All I kept hearing was how quickly things were being done. Now sometimes people think quick means cutting corners. Not with Pangione. Our bank inspector was amazed at how thorough the job was done. He would comment on areas where Pangione did more than what the standards were. Our town building inspector raved about the job Pangione Developers did. He had nothing but good things to say about Dave and his team. He said his job would be a lot easier if other contractors worked with the town and did the job correctly like they did. I have had more neighbors, many who I did not know, come up to me since we have moved back in to tell us how beautiful our home is.
The experience Dave has in the industry shows. When we asked him for recommendations for kitchen cabinet, countertops, tile, fireplace, glass shower door suppliers/companies, he would give us a few to review. They were all great and their pricing was very good. It is a huge help to have someone as knowledgeable as Dave when you are undertaking a huge project like this.
To also show you the type of guy Dave is and how he wants to deliver the best product to his customers, he ended up upgraded or throwing things in for free because he wanted us to be as happy as possible. That is something you rarely see nowadays. It's normally just about making every dollar that you can. It made us feel even better that we selected someone that truly cared about the job he was doing for us.
I have to say, the best part of working with Dave Pangione and Pangione Developers was how quickly Dave responded to any of my questions. I prefer to communicate via email with projects like this so I have everything in writing. In most instances, Dave replied back to me within minutes to answer my questions. The longest it ever took was probably a few hours. Talk about professionalism, you don't see that in this industry. He also picked up his phone any time I called him. No matter what it was, Dave was on it. You will not find a contractor that is better communicating with their customers than Dave Pangione.
