Review: I have came to this business for help with a power of attorney form that needed to be sent to the Indian consulate in New York . He said that he knows what to do and made me go through a process of filling out and notarizing the paper work and made me hand write a cover letter and then asked for 132 dollars. A week later the New York consulate called me and said that I needed to attest the paper work from the state of PA and they could not help me and they were sending my paperwork back. I went to **. [redacted] and asked for a refund. He said he did not know of the new policy but he would not refund the money he took. I only asked for the fee he took and not the whole 132 dollars because I understand mistakes happen but he denied that anything was his fault so he refused. I tried to tell him that it was his job to know these policies especially if he is charging people for it but he said it was not his fault and refused a refund. There was a money order for 23 dollars attached to the power of attorney that came back to me too but I can not cash it because I need the stub which he did not have either so it was useless.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund . I think he failed to do what we hired him for and he should know all policy changes especially if he is charging people for it. I have warned other friends and family about this as well and they will stay clear from this business . At the end of the day it doesn't cost 132 dollars to walk to the post office and send something to New York city.

**. [redacted] came to my office on 10/29/13. **, [redacted] was asking for the procedure to get the power of attorney approved from Indian embassy. As usual, I hand over the application form and asked him to. fill it And asked **. [redacted], to get the document, notarized. The normal procedure until that day, were, fill up the application, notaries it and send to the embassy, by overnight mail with pre-paid envelop. Same way, with his covering letter, I send everything to the embassy. Unfortunately, consulate changes their policy over night And asking for, his application to be attested by the state of Pennsylvania. This change happened in the middle of the mailing process, The consulate never announced the new change in advance. Consulate rejected his application.

In this situation, I have to admit, I was unable to inform **, [redacted], the change took place in Indian consulate policy* since I didn’t informed about it, I am not completely disputing against his clime. Bellow, may I list the break down, of the expense on his application.

Return mail (pr paid) 19,95

I spent more than an hour with his application, plus mailing additional. Since this is my livelihood, I told him I spend time and effort for to his service. I acknowledge, he is disappointed, and things didn*t happen. And I am also, equally disappointed because, 1 couldn’t help him as my customer. The consulate, “don’t care" attitude and behave made all this confusion. Regardless, all these things, if **. [redacted], insists a reftind, I am willing to give at least half of my Service charge, that is 32dollars.To me, that is more than a fair settlement

I am rejecting this response because:

I think I am entitled to a full refund of the service fee and just not half. I want the Revdex.com to know I will not be here to respond to any further emails until February 16th 2014 because I am leaving the country . Please keep this open until I get back unless I receive an agreement for a full refund before I leave which is 11/30/13.
