No engineer would be able to evaluate the subterranian work, though they would be able to see the sump pump outflow tract and the split? frame boards left by Pankey.? But this is no longer a he said she said.? *** *** ** *** ***Kansas City, MO 64137Complaint # 1129646 Hello A**rid, It has been brought to my attention that *** *** has filed another complaint on the above property stating that my work was sub par and shoddy. There has been no
additional work done at this location and I thought this matter had been resolved last year. When she originally turned in the 1st complaint I visited her home and informed her that she needed to do some terrain/drainage corrections to allow for proper drainage from water away from her foundation walls. The work that was preformed at her house was all structural. All structural repairs were don't professionally and there was nothing sub par about anything that my company did. We take a lot of pride in all of the work that we do and % of our jobs come from people who are happy with the work we preform and refer us on to their friends and family. All of the problems at the above listed address can be resolved with proper grading/terrain correction as water follows the path of least resistance. This is what I purposed to do when I was addressing the problem last year when she filed the complaint and have not heard anything from her until I received this email today. If she needs a copy of my company warranty it states "the homeowner is required to maintain a proper grade away from the foundation and also monitor guttering and downspouts to ensure water will flow freely away from foundation walls. Lack of homeowner maintenance listed above will result in poor drainage and the possibility of lateral wall movement. In this case the problem will be solved at the homeowners expanse." My professional opinion has not changed since last year and she will still need to do the exterior drainage work to resolve this matter.
