Review: We hired this contractor to fix our house after Superstorm Sandy. The following are a list of problems that he has been made aware of and we have gotten so response...1) Thermostat for heat improperly installed, 2)flooring throughout entire first floor buckling 3)electric outlet in cabinet placed in incorrect spot creating a dangerous situation--wire for gas cooktop has to hang across the entire length of the cabinet beneath it 4) we asked him to patch a hole in the roof he told that the roof was too high for his workers 5) used incorrect lumber for the new front porch which caused the wood to warp. 6)When asked for receipts for our house we were told that he does not have receipts specific for our job. He has ignored several phone calls, e-mails and texts from us. He has said that either he or one of his workers will be coming to fix things and no one ever shows.Desired Settlement: We would like the corrections done properly but our concern is that this company will not do the proper work so would like a refund of some of the $56,000.00 that he was paid already for this job so that we can contact another contractor to fix his mistakes.

Review: The [redacted], [redacted], titled as [redacted] of Panorama Builders, was contracted to build a new house to replace the one destroyed by Superstorm Sandy. [redacted] has walked away from the project before completion. I was left without a front stoop and the remaining concrete work needed to obtain a Certificate of Occupancy. The rear deck was not built correctly. Further, there are structural issues that were not done correctly by Panorama that I must now resolve before the C of O inspection. The architectural drawings were not followed by Panorama employees in certain phases of interior construction that will result again being corrected by me using my funds. [redacted] refuses to acknowledge phone call and text messaging. The house foundation, frame and roof were completed by the end of September 2013. From that point in time forward, the work became intermittent at best. There were numerous periods of weeks at a time that the job was "dead". I have a construction loan with my bank. The bank will not convert the loan to a conventional one without his statement that his interest in the build is completed. The City of Long Beach also needs him to sign off on the project. A certified letter has been sent to the address on file with no response. [redacted] was well aware of the turmoil that the storm created for my family. I went well above the cooperation level that a client should follow and would be more than willing to tell the story to a representative of the Revdex.com. I also have receipts to prove my statement.Desired Settlement: Panorama has a responsibility to reimburse me for the work needed to complete the project. I say this because [redacted] does not respond to my attempts to contact him. If he would correct the issues as well as reimburse me for his portion of responsibility for concrete and repairs ongoing, I would be satisfied.
