Panorama Truck Repair and Towing

Chess in response to your letter that you faxed over to me yesterday the gentleman called us for a tow he stated to me that he was on the highway and the we went out to that location and could not locate him we called his cell phone several times he did not answer so my driver drove back to our office in Bakersfield then he called us back out about an hour later so we drove back out to that same location could not locate him again the gentleman walked over to somebody's house and got a physical address where he was located almost miles away from us at that point we stated to him where he is located and how far he is in nobody else would assist him so we gave him the price he was OK with it we drove out there picked him up took about hours to go one Want we got the truck back door facility we worked on his truck and got the verbal authorization to proceed with his truck gave him the cost of the pricing for the air compressor the air dryer the hose that goes in between the which was contaminated with metal shavings we also had to flush out his air tanks since they had metal shavings in them also unfortunately my mechanic had a go back-and-forth multiple times to get each part from different dealerships and he knew that we do charge an hourly rate of hour from the time my mechanic starts on his truck to he completes it now he might have had other "from a dealership in another state which labor raiders lot cheaper than it is in California and they have the products sitting on their shelves unfortunately we do not have the products on our shelves we have to drive to the dealerships to purchase the products and bring him back to install them on to the vehicle So the price for the toe the labor and also the products came to a grand total of and cents Panorama Towing Service [redacted] - Owner [redacted] Santa Clarita, CA Tel: ###-###-#### Fax: ###-###-####

I am rejecting this response because:Several things I never told them that I was at and I told them that I was at the end of where it meets up with at a stop signI told them I had made a pickup in Santa Maria and was on when I started having problems with the truckAnd I was not 200- miles away I was at the mostI don't like it when a liar runs a businessAnd their sole recourse is to ripoff the out of state truckerAnd further more I have the mans telephone number who told them where I wasAnd at no time did I walk over and initiate contact with that home ownerWhen the tow bill alone is almost dollarsIt's pretty evident the business owners intentAnd further more I never blindly told them to proceed with the workI told them I wanted the work done but I needed them to give me an estimateThen they just started doing the little bit of work that had to be doneI didn't say much, but I did ask the office manager to give me an idea of what its going to costThe response I got was, well were really not sure yetSo I assumed there supposed to be a reputable business, they'll be fair with meWorst mistake I ever made was trusting these peopleAnd you should know when I got back to McAllen Texas, I went to see my buddy *** at Rush Peterbilt*** runs the repair desk at Rush Peterbilt in McAllenWhen I showed *** the bill that Panorama had given me, he couldn't believe it*** said that was the most exorbitant bill he had ever seenHe said the compressor alone only cost dollarsHe said all the work they did should have ta*** between and hoursI went over there numerous times during the repair process, and every time ther was nobody working on the truckAnd when I paid I told the office manager and the mechanic that bill was the biggest gouge job I had ever seenAnd also when you charge somebody 11,you should make sure the truck is fixedWhich it was notIve had to have further work done that they didn't doLike when I told the office manager that there were numerous faults coming up on my truck screen, and I needed it resetHe told me their computer reset box was on another jobBut he said they could unhook my batteries and the faults would reset themselvesSo he did thatWithin hours of leaving that shop the faults came backAlso I want you to know when the mechanic gave me the bill, I looked him right in the eyes and said this bill and the way your boss treats out of state truckers is the reason ill never haul in California againAnd his response to me was, listen I cant believe the bill for the work that was done eitherHe said the tow bill was the worst thing he had seenAnd he personally couldn't believe how much they were charging for the repair billHe said he wishes he could do something, because he felt bad for meAnd in finishing, *** at Rush Peterbilt says the that repair bill should have been substantially less than half of what I was charged Thank you *** ** *** Ph###-###-####

I am rejecting this response because:Several things I never told them that I was at 99 and 46. I told them that I was at the end of 58 where it meets up with 46 at a stop sign. I told them I had made a pickup in Santa Maria and was on 101 when I started having problems with the truck. And I was not 200- miles away I was 120 at the most. I don't like it when a liar runs a business. And their sole recourse is to ripoff the out of state trucker. And further more I have the mans telephone number who told them where I was. And at no time did I walk over and initiate contact with that home owner. When the tow bill alone is almost 3700 dollars. It's pretty evident the business owners intent. And further more I never blindly told them to proceed with the work. I told them I wanted the work done but I needed them to give me an estimate. Then they just started doing the little bit of work that had to be done. I didn't say much, but I did ask the office manager to give me an idea of what its going to cost. The response I got was, well were really not sure yet. So I assumed there supposed to be a reputable business, they'll be fair with me. Worst mistake I ever made was trusting these people. And you should know when I got back to McAllen Texas, I went to see my buddy [redacted] at Rush Peterbilt. [redacted] runs the repair desk at Rush Peterbilt in McAllen. When I showed [redacted] the bill that Panorama had given me, he couldn't believe it. [redacted] said that was the most exorbitant bill he had ever seen. He said the compressor alone only cost 700 dollars. He said all the work they did should have ta[redacted] between 6 and 8 hours. I went over there numerous times during the repair process, and every time ther was nobody working on the truck. And when I paid I told the office manager and the mechanic that bill was the biggest gouge job I had ever seen. And also when you charge somebody 11,274.40 you should make sure the truck is fixed. Which it was not. Ive had to have further work done that they didn't do. Like when I told the office manager that there were numerous faults coming up on my truck screen, and I needed it reset.
