I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the
offer I reviewed appear below. The business owner has been telling us "soon", since May of 2013.We signed a work contract with him in March Work was not started until June 2013. He stripped off all of the old siding and storm windows right away, and then took a very long time getting the siding on, and the windows were done much laterThe trim for the windows that have been done was just finished this Spring. The largest window in our home, the living room window in the front of our home, was to be a bay windowThe contractor took off the storm windows from all the windows of the house, and left them off since the summber of 2013, leaving our house looking run down, and effecting the temperature of the interior of our homeThe last two windows were the ones in front, both of which were supposed to be bay windowsThe contractor finally installed a window, not a bay window, in our bedroom, this May, He has told us several times, that he is coming"next week", often giving us specific dates, and then he does not show upHe has also blamed this on many things, : money to pay his installers, ( although he is capable of installing it), that the window has been ordered, but is back-ordered, that the window is in a warehouse, and also the various weather conditions-- " it is too hot" ," it is too cold", etcHe also has stated that he can install the window at any time, even if it is snowing outside, so he contradicts himself on this pointThis summer and fall he promised us that he was going to have the last, and largest, window installed before the snow flies, and here we are in JanuaryThis is the same story that he told us last winter, and we are still waiting for the windowRegards, *** ***

Regards, *** *** The business owner asked us to LOAN him in February 2016, to install the bay window in front of our homeHe said that this was the cost of labor and "storage fees" for the window( We had already paid him in full to complete this job)He stated that if we loaned him the by February 10,2016, he would pay us back by February 19, 2016, and the work would be done on February 15,2016.The business owner signed a contract with us indicating this repayment and work plan, which was notarized in front of myself, and my wife at the local Chase bankHe installed the bay window during the week of 3/3/16, but never repaid us this "loan"We gave him ample time,to repay us, and he ignored all of our requests to do soWe felt we had no other recourse but to take the business owner to Small Claims Court on July 6, Business owner did not show up in court, and we won the judgment for plus interest accruing from February thru July 6, The business owner has not paid any of this as of August 25, We will need to pursue collection with the U.SMarshall's office at this point
