Panther Premium Logistics, Incwas contacted by K*** at HCI on 4/21/to quote a pickup and deliveryK*** mentioned in the quote call that HCI's customer had a "funny situation with their drive way." K*** said, "the driveway is a quarter of a mile long and they need the freight delivered to their (the consumers') garage." Later K*** called back to Panther Premium Logistics to confirm her quote was for a "special truck to take it to the garage, like a van." Eric, the Panther Premium Logistics representative confirmed, "Yes, it is a cargo vanCorrect." K*** replied, "Ok, perfect."
Our pro # *** was set up on 4/27/with K*** at HCIAt no time were additional services requested by HCISpecifically, the services that are referenced in the consumer's complaint were not requestedPanther Premium Logistics, Incwas not asked to provide services such as a dock-high truck with forklift onsite to unload freightNor were we asked to provide a truck with specialized lift-gate equipmentPanther Premium Logistics was not told that assistance was required at delivery to unloadWhile we do not know what HCI promised the consumer at delivery, Panther Premium Logistics did exactly what HCI ordered
After careful review of the consumers' complaint and the events proceeding, it is in our opinion that Panther Premium Logistics, Inchad no wrong doing in this matterWe were contracted to perform a service for HCI and we fulfilled that contract as requestedThank you

Let me start by saying that this company is in the business of moving and delivering packages and therefor they know what is needed to deliver a package by size and weightThey send a box weighing over 300lbs in the back of a regular cargo van with a driver that was of bad health as wellCommon sense alone would alert the deliverer as to the need of a lift gate to get this off at a residence and not a loading dockIt's like going to a appliance store and buying a refrigerator and they deliver it and say you have to figure out how to get it off the truck and into your houseThis response from Panther is nothing more then a company that does not care about anything but the money regardless of who gets hurt in the processLet me add that I could have picked it up myself in my pick up truck and paid a few men for a fraction of the cost and not hurt my back....or I could have hired a rollback tow truck to pick it up and deliver for half the price and at least they would have slid it right into my garageThis company has no clue as to good business as for every unsatisfied customer they will loose dozens and dozens just by word of mouth let alone social mediaPanther needs to teach their management to do things right and treat customers right instead of copping out with a lame excuseThe charge of $was high to begin with but I figured it's worth it considering the weight and size of the boxPanther is company that all people should be very careful if their considering them for delivery serviceOne more thingthey sent this poor soul out driving this van with no navigation nor any knowledge of the area causing me to have to talk him here by phone like a first time driver.....not his fault ....but the fault of a company that cares ONLY about themselves and NO concern for the customer or their employees
