There are no guarantees to 20/for any refractive procedure including Lasik Our advertisement states "See as good or better as you do out of glasses or contacts"There is paperwork signed by all the patients and it is in their chartThis patient did achieve 20/though and has perfect visionWe offer a year of follow ups to all our patientsIf they need a second procedure it is included in the priceThe professionals she saw are not Ophthalmologists and will be dealt with by the practice accordinglyIf the patient was in need of an enhancement we would have gladly done it for herThere is nothing wrong with her except that it appears she wants her money back for perfect services.All of the paperwork for the procedure, finances, and basically any concerns were initialed and signed. Hippa does not allow me to post the paperwork signedSeveral of my staff members including our Doctor assured her she was fine. Patients at any clinic would spend thousands more for the vision achieved in the procedure. I apologize that you felt the need to turn us in to the Revdex.com for doing a perfect procedure. Regards

Wow, I am suprised they actually put that in writing. I am not questioning their guarantees nor the procedure I made the appointments for the consultation due to my reading vision and wanted to know if they
could helpLong story short; I do not have 20/and I have been told not only do I have cataracts, but my eyes could never benefit from lasik and should never have been touchedI do not need glasses for anything other than readingI did not appreciate them telling me to buy a pair of cheaters (at my three month foll). I was told flat out lies and paid for themI have seen two doctors who have been honest with meOne is my optometrist, the other a lasik specialistWould you like me to have them write letters to you? Both of them suggested I should get a refund and contact the medical board, which I already have Now I will be contacting an attorney How could I have gone through their numerous exams and them not know I had cataracts and was not a candidate for Lasik? Please let me know if you need anything to help resolve this issue*** ***

Unfortunately this is not an accurate statement. The patient was very aware of what was being done and signed 3 receipts that stated she understood there was a non refundable policy of $1000.00. 100% of our patients sign and initial all of this paperwork before they even go for all of their testing....

Because of HIPPA I cannot send you this paperwork unless the patient signs a release.We are not high pressure . I am the Operations Manager over 45 employees. She had a medical condition that we were going to treat. We aren't sales people as none of us receive a commission or extra money for people who sign up for a medical procedure,? That makes no sense at all.Last she called in yelling at us. We want to be treated by people the same way we treat them. After several failed attempts to explain the non refundable deposit to her. She yelled again at me and I hung up on her. No one needs to be disrespected the way she disrespected me. Our company has policies as does everyone elses. We follow the same procedures with everyone.  Thanks in advance.

We have refunded her $4000.00. I know she is aware that she signed all the paperwork pertaining to the surgery and the services rendered forms. There are  4 separate papers that were signed by her and every other patient, that shows where the services were rendered. Because...

of HIPPA and can not send this paperwork to you unless we have her written permission.  The paperwork states the tests we ran and has it separated showing that we do not refund the thousand dollars for the testing that we did and the ordering of surgery supplies.We would enjoy helping this patient but instead of dealing with us she is using the Revdex.com and social media to make inaccurate comments and basically slandering my practice. Being in the legal field, I would hope someone would understand what they have signed and what slander means. If we can do anything else to help we are always available. My staff has bent over backwards for her and we have refunded all monies owed.Thanks

I am rejecting this response because:The practice that this office manager uses IS high pressure even though he denies it. How could I be billed for $7000.00 before even visiting with Dr. Manrique? What I signed was unclear and I believed it was for a line of credit. There was so much double talk during this process, I was even instructed on what to say to technician and staff doctor by this manager during the exam to ensure "proper coverage." Furthermore it was not me who raised my voice first, I had spoken to two office personnel members a few days before the office manager called me back and it was perfectly civil and calm , no raised voices or rudeness. I have documented notes on whom I spoke with at Dr. Manriques office and I believe they can attest to that . They handled it professionally and with tact, unlike their office manager who immediately flew off the handle and raised his voice when he sensed my frustration (an then hung up on me.)Maybe they do follow this same procedure with everyone and it is unfair, I am speaking out about the overcharge of $1000.00 for a basic/generic eye exam and would be willing to resolve this mess with a fair payment of $250.00 for services rendered. The referral I went on, a friend of mine, paid this amount, why am I paying more? Thank you
