After putting it off until we knew it was time, we decided to go ahead and start getting estimates for a new roof. We got numerous estimates from the big names, and not so big names of roofing in our area. P.A.P roofing was the best by FAR in our search for price, warranty, & what we felt would be quality work. Phil made us so assured that we would be happy with his work that we signed him on to do the roof at the time he gave us the estimate. He said they could start the following morning, and sure enough they were here ready to rock and roll. This is not a company where the boss comes out to give estimates, and then doesn't show up to the job site. He was here every day that his crew was here. His crew was extremely friendly, they all introduced themselves to me and shook my hand before any work was started. Several times throughout their job I went outside to check on the progress to see how it was looking and they talked to me like they had known me for years. Same goes for our son, they asked how he was doing and were very friendly with him as well. From start to finish, it took only a few days (appx 1700 sqft home) and that was only because they were sent home one day around lunch because of the rain. Several times during the days they were working, we had a few things we wanted to ask about so we called Phil. If he didn't answer right then, he called us back almost immediately. They kept the job site clean during the process. On the last day, they swept off all the porches, spent a long time with the magnet to ensure no stray metal was left, and really cleaned up after themselves. The only way you ever know they were here is because of the awesome new roof! Amazing price, amazing roof, we couldn't be any happier. We highly recommend P.A.P. roofing!
Contacted about a warranty claim and was told that they could not warranty the whole roof. I do not need the whole roof warrantied, only the part you worked on. The rest of the roof is fine. Upon answering the phone from a return call it was obvious the owner had a attitude before I ever said a word. Was told that the work they performed was not warrantied but was only done as a preventative. Come on! REALLY! I am not asking for the money to repair the nice big 3 x 3 wet spot on my ceiling now, I only want you to make good on your part. Asked if I was going to have to call someone else to repair what they were supposed to andthe owner hung up on me. So I would advise if you want someone to stand behind their work to get someone elso!!
