Mrs. [redacted] set unrealistic dates and deadlines after the work was already started.  She also went behind our back and hired our subcontractor after she had not let us complete work.  We paid many fees, as well as work completed.  She has been threatening and irate beyond my control....

 Again we had started work already, completed work, made several trips out to her home as well as suppliers to pick out samples and then she lets us go and hired my sub.  She is not getting her full deposit back

I am rejecting this response because:You described me as being unrealistic, threatening and irate. Powerful statements on your part but completely false in representing the true facts of the situation. Lets begin with that we signed a contract with [redacted] Pape of Pape Family Construction to design and construct a brick paver patio measuring approximately 800 square feet on or about June 20, 2017. Upon signing the contract we then proceeded to give [redacted] Pape a deposit of $6,500.00 to secure materials for the job. Contract stated that the project would be completed in 6 days once work commenced. On June 21, 2017, Pape Family Construction began demolition of our backyard. Workers arrived at 8:30 am and then proceeded to leave at 12:30 pm. No other work was performed for the remainder of the week. The week of June 25-July 1, there was no worked performed on our project. The week of July 2-July 8, there was no work performed on our project. Multiple texts and phone calls were made to [redacted] Pape inquiring as to why no work has happened on our project. Each text and call was returned by [redacted] Pape stating that he will have a crew out immediately to continue work. No crew ever showed up for three (3) weeks. It was then that we informed [redacted] Pape that we are cancelling the contract due to his inability to get the job done. There were never any unrealistic timelines as we the consumer were left waiting for your crew to show up! Upon cancelling the contract, we requested a full refund of our $6,500.00. [redacted] Pape initially agreed to refund our money and also offered an apology due to his inability to get the job done in a timely manner. The week beginning July 9, 2017 we received no refund money. The week beginning July 16, 2017 we received no refund money. The week beginning July 23, 2017 we received no refund money. The week beginning July 30, 2017 we received no refund money. The week beginning August 6, 2017 we received no refund money. The week beginning August 13, 2017 we received no refund money. The week beginning August 20, 2017 we received no refund money. The week beginning August 27, 2017 we received no refund money. Over 8 weeks and we have yet to receive our refund. In your reply you used the word irate, you bet your sorry as we are irate! We are irate over the fact each and every week you continue to tell us that you will be bringing over refund money but then you mysteriously never show up. There is always some emergency or problem that you have to deal with. The fact that you owe us money and continue not pay is an emergency, is a problem! Each week it is a different excuse. You tells us your coming with our money and your skate boarding at the park. You tell us your coming over with our money and you end up at the [redacted] game. [redacted] were on to your game. We have had a Private Investigator on you and everyone else for quite some time. As for your last adjective, threatening. I would say that we have been the farthest thing from it. We have waited weeks for our money and all you do is continually play games.
