Dear Ms [redacted] ,Pape Kenworth rejects Mr [redacted] 's assertions in Complaint [redacted] that we performed unnecessary work onhis vehicle, misled him, and engaged in any form of fraudulent activityPape performed legitimate, customerauthorizedengine repairs, replaced at our sole cost the parts that subsequently failed, provided additional no-chargerepairs as a show of goodwill, and offered to pay for reinstallation of the electronic recorder at a time and place of thecustomer's convenienceMr [redacted] 's account is not consistent with the facts, and we ask that this matter beimmediately dismissedThat being said, we are willing to discuss and resolve this matter with Mr [redacted] , if he iswilling As described In our original response, the engine repairs performed were necessary to allow for installation of a dieselparticulate filter requested by Mr [redacted] VVe performed these repairs in accordance with manufacturer's technicalrequirementsPape replaced the injector and gasket that subsequently failed under warranty, at no cost to thecustomerVVe offered to re-install the electronic recorder at no charge at a time and place of his convenientopay for him to have it installed at another dealership of his choice, if he preferredHe never followed up on this offer.And, finally, when Mr [redacted] 's vehicle would not start, it was due to aged, failed batteries, which had nothing to dowith our work.We nonetheless replaced all four batteries at no charge to him-a $show of goodwill-somethingthat we were in no way obligated to provideAll work performed was authorized by the customer The claims in Mr [redacted] 's complaints are not aligned with the factsVVe strongly object to his accusations of improperbehavior, as well as his attempt to use a public forum to put forth such inaccurate and damaging claimsWe requestthat this case be immediately closed We would like to ask Mr [redacted] ; what is it we could do to help make this better for him? Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because:
Kenworth failed to disclosure this - "Failure to comply may void warranty" I had choice
On August 17, I brought my truck for data logger to determent size of DPF filterKenworth start to make engine health and racketeering me by statement that I have to first change fuel injector than later they said I need change head for cylinderAfter one week of unnecessary work (August 25, 2015) they stated that they cannot install data logger because they do not have interface cable( Exhibit 1)
Furthermore Kenworth install junk injector that was change by Kenworth again on October 31, (See attachment) Kenworth also repaired their bad job(See attached photo gasket install not properly, leaking from exhaust)
Kenworth admitted fact data logger not function properly no data
Kenworth kept my truck for one month and what they did? 1) Unnecessary work 2) No interface cable 3) They could not start the truck after their own repair4)Data logger not function properly and ect
I am afraid to come back to Pape Kenworth, because they are involve in misleading information, fraud, racketeering activities, conspiracyThey are created so much problems for meI do not trust them because Kenworth has poor knowledge about filter systems for California
I did not have any problems with my engine if they did not misled me I never did any repair even if warranty on filter will be voidThey are failed to disclosed
On January 21, I went to another company and install data logger it took less than one hour to installI paid $and when return data logger made refund in the amount of $(See exhibit 2, and estimated attachment) On August 17, the same request was for Pape Kenworth too.Sincerely,*** ***
