Response:
When [redacted] brought is 2006 [redacted] into the shop, he was made aware that there was a $75.00 Diagnostic Fee Plus 6% sales tax charge in order for us to diagnose any issues with his motorcycle. We have Specialized Equipment, purchased from [redacted] at [redacted] Products, (that is quite Costly) to diagnose idle problems, Valve problems, Fueling issues, etc. We did perform the diagnostics on [redacted]'s motorcycle and we informed him that there was a leaking valve in the rear head of his bike. [redacted] dropped his motorcycle off on 8/1/2015 and signed the preliminary work order, consenting for us to perform the diagnostics. We were waiting to hear if he wanted us to do the work necessary to repair his motorcycle. He also had requested for a tune up and to check why his engine kept stalling and overheating. We did not complete any other work. It is not normal for a motorcycle with 9,138 miles to Stall and backfire and consume as much oil as [redacted] was stating. So I now Question [redacted] & the [redacted] Dealer of [redacted] Choice. [redacted]; I agree, the motorcycles do get extremely warm, but they Do not Consume as much oil as the customer States, or Stall, Let Alone, Backfire unless the customer had some engine modifications done at his Own Risk. I can provide the Customer's notes of concern, the signed repair ordered and the final repair order with the recommendations for his 2006 [redacted].
