Review: I signed my receipt for $40 to cover my portion of the bill at the restaurant. This amount was inclusive of tip. The total bill (for two people) was $60+ (exact total I do not remember). The request was to put $40 on my card, and there was an additional $40 in cash to settle the balance of the bill, including the tip.My credit card now reflects activity of an additional $5 tip charged to the card, which was not authorized, for a total of $45 charged. Unethical and, I'm pretty sure, illegal.I would like a copy of my signed receipt, to prove that I did not include any additional $5 tip.Desired Settlement: -$45 refunded back to the card to settle this. The $5 unauthorized, plus the $40 for time spent getting this done.-a copy of my receipt that the server altered-I would like a full investigation into the "tips" that may have been added to other patrons' bills, as I am sure that I am not the only one this has happened to.

This is very embarrassing for us, I'm responding to the complaint ID #

[redacted] in which was an error from our server (tips) not from the house as was stated by the client, however we're responsible for this mistake and willing to solve it.

Our manager on duty ([redacted]) tried to get in touch with the client replying a message placed in facebook on 06/**/13.

Mistakes happen, we're not perfect, considering the number of patron visiting Papillon Bistro and Bar on daily based the error margin is very, very small.

Our reputation doesn't cost $5.00, will be a lot easier if we got a phone call from the client and mention to us the incident instead of reporting to Revdex.com and the social media ([redacted], [redacted] etc).

Next step is get in touch with the client and get the credit card info so we can refund the $5.00 back to her card.
