I have learned that the cleanest houses can have an embarrassing pest invade their home! I don't even LIKE writing about Bed Bugs! Never in our lives would we ever think these critters would invade any residence we lived in, but it happened! I called City Wide Exterminating to ask for someone to confirm my suspicions. [redacted], their Technical Director called me back very quickly and answered every crazy question I had! Where did they come from? Guess what? They can come from anywhere! A movie theater, your job (yes, even from a hospital), any seat where they could hitch a ride. It's pretty scary! [redacted] went over all my options and he was at our home within a few days. He even tried to juggle his schedule to come as quickly as possible. Frankly, hubby and I were freaking out over the whole thing, had removed our bed to the garage, TRIED to sterilize the bedroom and were sleeping on the sofa's downstairs.

[redacted] came armed with his tools of the trade at 8am and worked on our master bedroom, bathroom, closet and family room couches until around 12pm. I can tell you that[redacted] and his company take their work VERY seriously and want to leave you feeling better after the experience. I must have asked him a million questions, but he was patient and answered ALL of them. Prior to his visit he coached me on what to do with our clothing, etc. These BB's are a royal pain in the you know what! Best part of this experience? [redacted] left us feeling like the problem was SOLVED. He emailed me several times checking up on us to make sure they were eradicated! If I found a bug and sent him a picture he would tell me "no worries, it's an XYZ, not a BB". WHEW! The follow-up visit was 3 weeks later which was included in the cost and he sprayed more and double checked the couches and anywhere else they may still be hiding. If you're thinking a hardware store will help you solve your own problems? Guess what? Don't waste your money. [redacted] found ONE (yes ONE) bedbug after he disassembled the bedframe and it was UNDER a screw! Seriously???? So in total, we found 3 of these nasty, biting pests before it turned into a much worse situation. So if you have your suspicions, I can't encourage you enough to call City Wide Exterminating as quickly as possible! And best of all, this is a family business who CARE! I will call them for any exterminating needs I may have in the future!
