Review: Changed propane provider. Tank was changed on JAnuary 14, 2014. Have called more than 6 times to have Paraco tank removed from driveway. Now over 2 months later the tank remains. Tank needs to be removed and amount of propane that remains in the tank credited to account.Desired Settlement: As above

Review: Purchased our house, understanding that there was a leased propane tank. Made agreements before the purchase of the property to pay $1803.69 to buy out the lease. After I purchased the property, I called to pay for the tank. Customer service rep told us we couldn't purchase the tank from them because we didn't have an account and would send over account paperwork. "Account paperwork" turned out to be a lease agreement which I'm not interested in. Lease agreement also indicated that I would be charged a $69.95 safety check fee, which they said was required as I was a new customer. Without signing the lease agreement, Paraco is refusing to sell me the propane tank.Desired Settlement: Allow me to purchase the propane tank, as is, for $1803.69 without signing any lease agreement or unsolicited safety check fees that were not identified sooner. Provide a tank ownership letter indicating that I am now the owner of the propane tank, so that I can purchase fuel from other authorized CT propane dealers.

Mr. [redacted] was never sent a lease. The Safety Check is required on all tanks, company or customer owned. The fee , which we normally charge all customers, was wavied for Mr. [redacted]. Attached is the signed contract regarding the sales of the tank along with a follow confirmation letter additionally confirming the tank sale.We have no records of a lease being quoted or sent to customer. The day after creating this complaint, all of my concerns were addressed to my satisfaction, unnecessary charges waived, and ambiguity removed from the documents I was asked to execute.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

We wanted to go from using Paraco for our secondary heat source to converting to propane full time. We called to get an idea of how competitive they are to oil. The customer service woman would not tell us. She was rude and told us her manager would call on Monday (this was Friday).
We converted and their tech came over to make sure the lines were set up. He didn't know what he was doing. He also found a leak in our big tank. They took it and said they would arrange to drop off a new one the next day.
No call from the manager, no call to get the new tank. We called them and had to LEAVE A MESSAGE! Then we call the regional for NY. Guy was rude and said he couldn't help us... even though we are almost out of fuel! Very rude. Now we have to figure out how to get fuel.
