I understand some folks will arrive at 8:00pm and it will take them minutes to get their laundry loaded and pay for the washThis is why I don’t increase the price right at 8:00. The price change takes place at 8:20pm to give customers this wiggle room. I could check the video camera to be sure but I suspect she paid for one washer prior to 8:20pm and then went to add quarters to the next washer and the price had doubled. I am not really looking to charge people more moneyUsing this approach allows me to inform customers who may not have seen or read the posted signs. If folks need to do laundry after 8:00pm we have a location 1.7miles away *** *** *** where last load is at 10:00pm. When folks don’t abide by the last wash time they end up staying past closingThis delays my janitors from starting their cleaning or worst they set off the burglar alarm.
