The customer ordered tickets on Thursday 2-26-at 11:am ESTThey chose local pickup as their shipping preference instead of opting to overnight it via FEDEXI called the customer at 12:p.meston the phone number they provided when they ordered tickets to
verify the local pickup addressThey did not answer, so I left them a voicemail stating we would be sending the tickets to the USPS office at ** *** *** *** ** *** for Hold at Location for PickupWe did NOT ship the tickets to their home addressI also advised if they wished to send the tickets elsewhere they would need to call me by the end of business dayI also emailed the address they provided with the local pickup details during that time as I did not receive an answer
The customer never called me back nor did they respond to the email I sentThe tickets were sent to the USPS as I had informed them and were available for pick up on Saturday at noonThe customer first claimed they never received any email or phone call regarding the order when they spoke to Ticket NetworkTicket Network requested proof of our attempts at contacting the customer and we provided the Phone log and the email logThe customer called into our office on 3/with a different storyThe customer then stated that “I saw the email but since I didn’t know who it was I didn’t open it”The email was very specific in the subject as it was titled “Local pickup for your order#*** Supercross” The customer claims yahoo doesn’t show the title of the emails just the senderWe also use yahoo and know this to be falseThe customer also admitted to “not using common sense” and drove to Atlanta without confirming where to pick up their ticketsThe customer obviously believed they would be picking their tickets up at the will call box office as that was the first thing they did before even attempting to contact us
Our policy is All Sales are Final, no refunds and no exchanges unless the event had been cancelled or rescheduledTherefore, a refund cannot be given due to the fact we had done everything we could to reach out to the customer beforehand to ensure they received their ticketsThe customer ignored all of our attempts to communicate with them and only reached out to us after they attempted to pick their tickets up at will call at 6:p.meston the evening of the show.
This all could have been avoided if the customer had either chose Overnight home delivery when ordering the tickets, or had checked their voicemail and emailThey would have gotten their tickets in plenty of time for the showWe have shipped tickets out for Local Pickups many times before and have never had a customer ignore our attempts to work out pick up detailsIt is our policy to reach out the customer so they know EXACTLY where to pick their tickets upThe tickets are still at the USPS office awaiting pick up as of today
If necessary, I can provide the customer’s order information, customer’s account history notes from Ticket Network and Affordable Tickets, our call logs and email regarding this claimYou will see we attempted to contact them using the phone number they provided as well as the email address, in addition to their story changing throughout the course of this matter
We would appreciate if this complaint is closed against us
