Response to customer complaint ID# ***.This customer was rejected by our management staff because his credit history was abysmalWe determined he did not pay his bills and many accounts had gone to collection.It is not our policy to rent to persons we determine will not qualify
according to our standards and protocols.The fact that he has a service animal was not a factor in this decisionWe have several service animals on our property.We have a score based evaluation of each resident who applies to live hereThe lowest acceptable score is pointsHis was and his wife’s was 25.The former manager may have hung up on him because he is rude and offensiveI spoke with him subsequently to explain why he was denied and he was yelling and cursing at meI do not tolerate such behavior either on the phone or in my officeI hung up on him as wellI offered to make a copy of his credit report and told him to come by and pick it upIt is still sitting in his file.Lyn R***, Property Manager

I am rejecting this response because:
The Individual responding to this is the ONLY manager that I dealt with at the property, and I never once raised my voice nor did I ever curse at her.
I was able to get her to respond to me via email after having my current Landlord speak to her on the phone on my behalf.
 The Property Manager has ZERO conflict management skills and seems to have anger management issues, even the tone of her email is aggressive and acuzational.
I accept that there was a reason for my denial, and appreciate that the Property FINALLY responded with thier reason, however this complaint process could have been avoided had the Property Manager taken the time to explain the properties posistion instead of being verbally abusive and rude to a prospective tenant. Ownership of the Property needs to look into this Property Managers actions and attitude if they plan to improve the quality of life at this property.
