Paradise Grill in Clermont (Deceitful)
We just want to let everyone who is interested in purchasing a Paradise Grill to please read the fine print and don't let the sales person (Michael) in Clermont lie to your face and let you believe that the price of a floor model (which we purchased) of $4995 includes the stools. We purchased a FLOOR MODEL and when my husband asked if the stools were included for the price $4995, he said YES, all of our grill include the stools, so my husband said wrap it up. We finally received the grill and the stools which were not the floor model and when we got the bill, it was saying we owed almost $8,000. I had paid $2,000 on my credit card before we financed the rest which should have been less then $4,000 , plus delivery and taxes, but when we finally received our monthly payments it was over $6,000 we owe. I tried to reach the sales associate but he only told us, "this is a mistake and Ill take care of that and get back to you", which he never did. So we went to the store a week later and he looked at us and said "I don't remember our conversation", which was another fib. We were in the store for 3 1/2 hours and no other customer came in before of after us. So hows do you not remember us. I tired reaching the manager (Peter Cooks) and when he finally called back , he told me he would look into it and help us any way he can, well that never happened. Then we reached out to the Regional Manager (Mark Sullivan) and he never called us. I then proceeded to call Corporate and although I spoke to Geneva, Jess and finally Chelsea who told me she didn't want our customers unhappy, so she would try to help us resolve this situation. She even old me " yes the grill include the stools, but not at the price you paid, it was the price under neath the $4995 which was $6,900, which again Michael (Store Sales person) did not tell us that. He made us believe the $4995, included the stools. Chelsea told me she would reach out to the District Manager, Mr. Hogaboom and I never heard from him. This is not a good thing to do when you are trying to help a customer that was deceived by a sales person. This is not correct. No one wanted to hear our complaint and so they never ached out to us. We had to call for over 1 month to see what was the status of this situation. The mistake was not ours, it was the sales person so the company should have taken care of us, and since they didn't, here we are saying to please be careful with this company. They also have you join a membership for $175 in order for you to buy the grill and that is bazaar . I am trying to cancel this membership and have no been successful so I am cancelling my credit card so they don't recharge in November when its up for renewal. Now we are stuck with another $1795 bill for stools that we were told were included with the price of the floor model of $4995. This is the first time that a retailer has made a mistake with us and have not taken the loss and please the customer. I even told them to check the cameras and voice activator in the store to see and hear what he told us and I guess they didn't bother , or the cameras and video aren't working. Hopefully they can read this review and let us know how to cancel our membership because we don't want any part of this company again. I would return the entire unit however, we paid someone to attach an electric to our unit so we don't have to use propane.

junk dont buy
DO NOT BUY! WONT Last!
Looks great on the sales floor. The whole thing is cracking in places and rusting on fridge. Fridge went out after one year. They charge a service charge for everything the warrenty is not worth the product.

I contacted the BBB they said they offered me free stucco, which is not true. They said they can send someone out for $150. They wanted me to pay $150 within the first year because the burners did not get hot enough. The guy came and fixed it proving they were wrong!

The salesman was a slick talker. Didn’t mention the fees. You call them and all they say and care about is that it in the contract. You all know the fine print!

Do your research wish I did. Just go read the BBB complaints they are all the same. Go build one for the price they charge. Wish I would have.

Zero Professionalism and customer service.
Zero Professionalism and customer service.
We purchased a new natural gas grill from Paradise Grill for a new house under construction.
Within a few weeks after the construction ended and the grill was installed, we realized that one of the burners was not working.

Paradise grill insisted that it was the regulator issue that the plumber installed on the permit. After many weeks of back-and-forth evaluation, it was determined that the grill was for propane gas, not natural gas. At that point, Paradise grill charged us the cost of converting the propane to natural gas. Although the sales contract clearly states natural gas grill. Clean well, presented Paradise Grill showroom is not indicative of their professionalism and customer service. Their response is that their warranty only covers parts but not labor. However, they shipped and installed the wrong product. They claim somebody converted the grill from natural gas to propane, and it was not them !

The quality of their product is garbage. There are rust spots all over the faucet, sink, and grill in less than a year.

Garbage
Horrible experience from day one. My setup is 3-4 years old. Grill is horrible after the first year. Rusts badly and they don’t honor their “lifetime warranty claim”. They charge for service tech visits. The plaster falls apart after a couple years and they will send a plaster repair kit but don’t honor “lifetime warranty claim”. Anything that rusts is wear and tear. The top brace that holds my tiki top on is considered wear and tear. They made a reference to driving a car and replace tires. I don’t drive a top of a tiki bar. This is the second time I’ve had rust and flame issues on grill but nothing is covered under their “lifetime warranty claim”. Don’t be scammed by these guys. Looks good in beginning but any issues you have will not be covered like the sales guys state in the show rooms. I’ve got a Webber grill too and call them and every time they replace anything needed. Even rusty grates. This place is a scam. Take it from someone who has had one for a few years now. Jess the customer service rep is rude and unhelpful and while kelsi was nice everything I needed done comes with a cost. Lifetime warranty is a scam. Call your local outdoor design company and get one built. Better quality and service. I used cascade outdoor design on my last setup and it was night and day. And also the radio they put on the unit is junk. It has never worked right. I’ve added just a few pics of the stuff that is not covered under their lifetime warranty claim.

The worst Customer Service Ever
This company treats the customer like trash! Mr. Crespo was super rude and nasty with me! I have an issue with one of the doors he told me will send an email so I could send pictures he never did after that never answered the calls again! I asked for his manager and I was informed that The CEO of the company was his manager! The never replied or try to help the customer!

This company has been the worst. I had the wrong kitchen delivered. 3 weeks later and I'm still dealing with trying to remedy it and get what I paid for. Still not fixed as of today.

DO NOT BUY - YOU WILL REGRET
Went to this Paradise Grills store over a month ago and bought an outdoor kitchen. After about 4 weeks it had not been delivered nor did I receive any communication about when it would. This is due to them having parts shipped from China. Called company to check on it and was told it would not be delivered for another 4 weeks. Well I raised cane and told them if they couldn't get grill to me that week I wanted a refund. READ THEIR RETURN POLICY CAREFULLY!!!

Well they got my grill and fire pit to me that week. The kitchen showed up with no electrical installed on it. So they pulled all the electrical equipment off another kitchen just like mine inside the truck and installed it. Set it up that night and used it the following night. Everything worked great. The next night was going to use it again and had friends over. Well guess what, nothing electrical worked on the kitchen. Called company the next day and I was told would be 8 days before someone could get out to look at it.

After buying from the sales person at their Clermont store. He told me once I got my kitchen to let him know and he would give me an outdoor cover for it. So called him 7 days ago and he said he had some outdoor covers coming in Tuesday. Well went by today which is Saturday to pick it up and you guested it, no cover. Guess customer service is just a sales tagline for them. Thinking back on some of my conversations with them, they are kind of slick sales people

Now the good stuff knowing what I know about their outdoor kitchen now at Paradise Grills in Clermont. Got to see inside the built unit which you dont at the display store.

This frame is CHEAP CHEAP and looks like they use poor Chinese material for construction. For the cost you would think you would get something better. The frame is flimsy thin metal and the plaster is not very good. AVOID buying for the price. They try to make it seem like they are offering you a discount, but trust me it is NOT. For 8 to 10k you can have a solid custom built one made for you.

PS- I own an online marketing agency and their reviews look unnatural. Its whats called in the industry as shill reviews. SO if you purchase based on reviews or your visit to one of their stores, you are doing so at your own risk!!

We had been working diligently with the customer on the concerns above. Mr *** purchased his unit from the Clermont Showroom on June 12, 2020 and we delivered his unit on July 2, 2020. Which is within the 3-4 week lead time stated on our contract. He called in on July 6, 2020 requesting a service call for the electrical and fire pit functions. We were able to work with him and get him on the schedule for July 13, 2020. The customer signed that "all items have been received and inspected to be in good condition". To our knowledge all concerns have been addressed. If there are any outstanding issues we are willing to continue to work with the customer to ensure complete satisfaction.

Their motto is "plug and play". We've had our Paradise grilling system for 3 weeks, and we've plugged, but have yet to play. The good news: it is a beautiful outdoor kitchen. That's all the positive I can say. The bad news: the grill is a piece of crap.
--Problem 1: When we installed the regulator that we were told to buy, it apparently was the wrong kind (despite buying what they told us), so the grill wouldn't get above 250 degrees.
--Problem 2: They sent us a grill made for natural gas instead of propane, so the service guy came and took out parts, put in new parts. This did not give us confidence in this grill.
--Problem 3: With the right regulator and now the parts for propane, it still takes forever to get hot. We ran a test. It took 20 minutes to get to 450 degrees. Our Weber grill took 4 minutes to get to that temperature. And the Weber is 2 burners, not 4.

What happened to the 1000 degrees the saleswoman promised?? I don't need 1000 degrees but getting to 400-500 degrees faster than 20-30 minutes and without using half my propane tank would be nice. Waiting for another service call to see if they can fix this. We've owned probably a dozen grills over the years and never had a brand new grill not work.

I've plugged and want to play. For $8,000 I expected a grill that would perform. I'm thinking about taking the grill out and replacing the opening with a nice potted plant and just keep using my Weber on the side. Plug and potted plant.

Learn from our mistake, do not buy their grills.

Paradise performed a service call on 6/12/20 to further assist the customer in achieving the desired grill heat. While there, the technician was able to exceed 500 degrees in less ten minuets. Our Paradise Grills are made with 304 grade stainless steel, a thick durable steel. It is required for a brand new grill to be primed before the first few uses. After our service the technician had no further reason to believe that there was an issue with the grill. We will continue to keep close contact with the customer to ensure complete satisfaction.

Very satisfied with the customer service Paradise Grills has offered us thus far. When we purchased our outdoor kitchen in the beginning of May we had high hopes of getting it delivered prior to my husbands birthday which was coming up on May 27th. Well when the corporate office called to schedule delivery the very next week they were already booking for the week following our party. We were heart broken to say the least but after speaking with Amanda she assured us she would do all she could to expedite our delivery for us. The very next day Amanda called us back with the best news ever! Not only were we excited but I really felt like she was just as excited as us which totally added to the experience. Come the day of delivery the team was running a little behind, but the crew called us instantly so we knew what to expect. Once the crew got to our home they had everything set up within an hour and a half. They showed us how to operate the lights, music, and even gave us some incite on how to clean the grill which was much appreciated. Overall the experience with this company has been great and will definitely be recommending.

I purchase the tiki hut out door kitchen model. They were suppose to deliver it on April 5th, I called the Thursday 4/2 before to confirm and was told it was pushed back til April 12th due to Covid-19. Which was understandable but a phone would of been nice. When they came to deliver it on the 12th, 3 delivery men showed up but for some reason only 1 put it together and was only able to do that because my brother and myself helped him. I've had issues with the radio not working from day 1, can not program my phone to anything (lights, radio etc.). The lights have to constantly stay on, the only way to turn them off is to unplug them but if I do then the fridge doesnt work. Called and spoke with Alexis in customer service, which was nice at first. She stated she would get back to me when she could get a repairman out. That was on 4/20, then on 4/29 she sends me an email stating she will have someone out on 5/09. That doesnt work for me because of my work schedule and I would have to wait until the end of May. Not very happy now. Her other offer was to ship me a new stereo and let me install myself. What? How and why am I suppose to repair my new tiki bar that I paid over $16k for myself?
At this point in time I still dont have a working stereo, lights that wont turn off, and no wifi connection at all. Still no resolution to this issue and awaiting their response.

Paradise is working with the customer to rectify all of the above concerns. We are able to accommodate the requested service date and will continue to work closely with the customer to ensure their satisfaction.

Falling apart, less than a year. Charge for labor to fix. When delivered, no grill cover or extra tile. Not worth the money.

Paradise Grilling Systems Response • Apr 22, 2020

Even though labor is not covered under the warranty, Paradise has come to a resolution with the customer and agreed to cover half cost. We have been in close contact with the customer and will have all requested repairs completed during the service call.

I purchased a grill from this company was lied too during the process. I was told on the phone I could return the item. I recorded me returning the item shaking the salesman hand and him accepted the return. Now they refuse to refund my account and taken the product back. The company are pure thefts and are attempting to steal my grill and make me pay for it. Everyone stay far far far away!

Paradise Grilling Systems Response • Feb 06, 2020

Mr. S has had the outdoor kitchen in his possession for nearly two years. All customers receive an email and a hard copy of the finance statement at the time of purchase which clearly states the terms. We have directed him to his finance company for any refunds he feels is owed. Paradise Grills strives for complete customer satisfaction and we are happy to assist in any way we can.

Customer Response • Feb 09, 2020

Funny how they accepted the refund on video and shook my hand and have the item but refuse to return the money. Its ok I have filled complaints with the attorney general, FTC and will file a personal lawsuit next. I will force you to return the money and do what right if you do not want to do whats right today.

I purchased my Hahiti GX9 in October. Scheduling was very accommodating getting me my Tiki Hut here before Thanksgiving so I would be able to entertain with my new bar/grill. During delivery the grill was left off the truck, the drivers went 2 hrs back out of their way to get it before coming here.
The delivery drivers were fantastic, very knowledgeable. The LED lights did not work, we bought a new battery as suggested that did not work. Stucco had issues, as did the rope lights not working (power supply cord was bad). Paradise Grill sent 2 repair orders out, but each time there was no stucco on truck, no LED lights on truck, Power cord was sent. Well..... after a few phone calls, mind you I was upset, the office handled me professionally, with respect and complete understading. As I type there is a person here rewiring my LED lights, repairing Stucco and doing a super job. Today is December 30th and Paradise Grilling Systems, Inc has made me a very happy customer. Took a little bit of effort (reason for the 4 stars) but well worth the wait!!!!! Thank you. Stacy L.

Beyond frustrated. For years my husband wanted an outdoor summer kitchen and I kept talking him out of it. We have a grill, what do we need a "big one" for. April of 2018 there was a tent sale that we stopped to check out. It was our ten year anniversary in August so I figured I would give in and surprise him with an outdoor kitchen. The sales rep, Sean, was super nice and helpful. The purchasing was a breeze, of course. May they deliver the kitchen and within two weeks, using it twice, the lights, speakers and radio are no longer working. After many attempts to get someone out to look at it we finally arranged a service call. The gentleman came out, not prepared, to just say they would have to come back another day with new pieces. Another week goes by and they do come back out to fix it. Now both times I have taken off work to be there because they can't work on anything without us there. After a month or so and probably using it four more times, the lights and radio stop working again. Honestly, I was exhausted going back and forth and with the winter time coming I didn't worry about it. But summer is approaching and I'd like to use it. I emailed two contacts from last year and got no response. Emailed the manager I spoke to last year and again no response. So I text the sales rep and he got right back to me asking me to send him an email so he can forward it. I get an email from the customer service rep I had already emailed asking when I could talk. Her email was not the kind of customer service that I provide to my customers. Anyway, I call her and she was in a meeting so someone else tried to help. The help was "sounds like" and that she was going to send out a part for me to install. I'm sorry but I'm an insurance agent, not an electrician. So she said she could do a service call that would cost $75. Oh and I would need to go through Bose for the radio. So I've paid $8,000 for an outdoor summer kitchen that none of the bells and whistles work. I could have just got the $4,000 one from Ace Hardware and been a lot happier. I would not recommend Paradise Grills to anyone but would recommend Sean if anyone is looking for a salesman.

We have been in contact with the customer and we are happy to assist her with the radio. The stereo in particular has an individual manufacturers warranty but we are happy to make an exception and set up a service call free of charge. We thank Mrs. A for working with us to come to a resolution.

Joey, at the***, sold us on a Paradise grill. There was no pressure to buy and he was informative and polite. I would certainly, recommend Joey for your outdoor kitchen equipment need.

We are expecting our grill to be delivered tomorrow...to be continued
