I asked for and got 6 estimates for the installation of a new heat-pump. W.C.Butler was not the least expensive but I will say they were one of the most professional and I believe the most thorough of all the Co I had do an estimate. When they did the estimate they explained everything to me, including all cost, time and materials and warranties. They came, removed the old unit, installed, cleaned everything up and tested the system then gave me and my wife instructions on how to use the new system. We were and are very pleased with their service, professionalism and work.

Called a highly recommended HVAC Co and received a recording promising a call back. After an hour and no return call I called WC Butler. A live person took the call and listened to my A/C problems. The woman was very pleasant, stating that a rep would arrive in 3-5 hours. A service rep called about 45 minutes later and stated he was in route. Long story short he diagnosed and fixed the problem. It's nice to receive prompt courteous service; especially when you're miserable and hot.

TERRIBLE attitude. I have tried this company quite a few times. First, a lot of paperwork is signed, fees discussed, etc... The pet sitter that was assigned to me had lukewarm attitude in the beginning and I just lived with it. Lukewarm went south fast to downright grouchy. Then all of a sudden "extra fees" were coming up that weren't told to me before such as a "mid day" extra charge and a "weekend" charge". Paying them was a lot of trouble as well. I'd leave cash for the pet sitter to take with a big note on top of my pets food to take the money. The sitter would move the note and the money to get to the pet food, feed the pet and leave the money. So, I'd have to take the time to write a check and mail it to them for a one time let out. Geez. What really took the cake was I then had an emergency and had to be away longer than I expected one day. I emailed a request in at noon for a visit that evening (because calling or texting meant you got yelled at by the 'witchy sitter)- only to be told off that I wasn't able to do that. I guess should plan my emergencies better next time. What good is a pet service if you can't count on them? They SUCK with a capital "S". I would encourage you to find another service. ANY other service. This was a terrible experience. I have had other pet services when I lived in other parts of town and they were always a delight. I'm sure there has got to be someone in my part of town that is better that this. They haven't set the bar very high.

Had been with W.C. Butler since install of new furnace and heat pump in 2006. Did my yearly checks when needed, no issues since new unit. Started 2 years ago on yearly service plan, first spring check was outstanding. Service tech was very thorough and cleaned out heat pump unit and explained everything. The next two checks I was not very satisfied with very little detail about what work or checks were done. On last occasion in spring 2015 the service tech stated replaced filters, but I advised he had not replaced the filter in the hallway. In addition, the next day after he had left, I found a piece of equipment left on the heat pump. We called and left a message. The young man returned the next day without notice and went to the back of my house, scaring my wife since the dogs were out. We called to complain and was asked if we wanted service tech to come back out to check the other tech's work and we said yes. NO ONE EVER CAME OUT. Then two months later my a/c pump stops working. I researched the cause and find it to be a bad capacitor. Called to get tech to replace capacitor, get bill and found they charged diagnostic fee for something I told them needed replaced and on top of that they charge $115 for a $13 part I researched at local A/C distributor. Called to question the bill and was told manager would contact me. NEVER HEARD from them again. NEVER got Fall check that I paid for in service contract. They again send out letter this year(2016) to continue service contract. I am very dissatisfied they never followed up with my complaint or provide my fall service I paid for.
With so many Heating and A/C Service companies in my area, I was shocked that not only once, but several times this company didn't return my complaints and then stopped my service. I used to recommend to everyone, but will no longer recommend this company.
