Problems with renting a condo Let me start by saying I am not upset with anyone in particular but by almost all the staff that I had interacted withI started by hoping for a quick weekend getaway for my self and my boyfriendWe are both new grads working as full time physical therapist assistance and ready to have a break from workSo I searched VRBO for a room finding the Tradewinds #advertised as $per nightThis was great since we are new grads with bills and it would have been a great priceSo I received the instant quote showing the rooms at $per nightBeing that the site said $and the calendar stated between the dates of March 1-April 12, the price was $with no weekend night rateI then sent an inquiry on the room asking for the correct priceI received an automated response telling me the room was available to for the nights selected with a cost break down but no response to my question and answer to where the extra cost was coming fromSo t
Amenities that were advertised were not working and the facilities had water being shut off thru out our day stay daily
I chose to book a vacation rental thru this property because of its amenities However the same day that we were scheduled to arrive we received an email that the buildings water would be shut off daily due to repairs, we mentioned this on cheand the rep stated she was unaware of this and would follow up with us but that never happenedThis was an extreme inconvenience that we had to plan our bathroom routines around the time the building would be without water for DAYS! in addition the gym facilites were not open for days! I called times to request a partial refund for our stay due to the inconvenience of no water and the gym and sauna being closed and both times we were told someone would contact us and it never happened
Vacation unit had malfunctioning appliancesThen there was a large water leakKaiser Realty would not help us relocate, even temporarily
Our Gulf Shores vacation unit rented thru Kaiser had multiple malfunctioning appliances.Then there was a water leak that required blowers and a commercial grade dehumidifier that needed to run 3-days, if left on mostly full-time(We have a video of the drying equipment running.) Kaiser, including ***, would not help us relocate, even temporarily, during this period
The noise was intolerableYou could not use TVs or radios, make or receive phone calls, etcThey told us we could turn off the blowers, not the dehumidifier (which in itself was quite loud and had a hose draining into the kitchen sink), when at the unitAll that would do is lengthen the time beyond 3-daysNot a solution
My wife took a bad fall from the water on her replaced kneeWe saw and smelled mold under wet carpetTheir solution was to credit

I reserved a house online with Kaiser Realty Wyndham vacation rentals for $11kIt was advertised for that price on VRBO AND Wyndham Vacation Rentals Kaiser RealtyI also spoke to an agent personally at Kaiser Realty who quoted me the exact same price of $11kI booked the home online and then a different agent called me and told me I was quoted the wrong price and would be an additional 1250.00!
