Review: Before I left Paradise Point on Thursday February 6, I clearly remember unloading the in-room safe box & recharging my earphones. I placed the earphones on the ledge above the fireplace. As the fireplace is behind the door therefore I missed them when I left.

They are Bose Quiet Comfort 20 noise cancelling in-ear earphones. I bought them new in January 2014 on Amazon for $331.00.

The earphone wire is grey/black & has a micro-usb port to recharge the battery.

I called paradise point on Thursday & they said that someone will check it out & that I should call back after 24 hours. I called back on Friday and security told me that someone is going right now and he will call me back in 15 minutes. I called again on Sunday and I was told that I should call back on Monday. Finally, on Monday, security contacted me that they want a brief description of the item and what happened.

I have no doubt in my mind that I left them there in room 250. I would like to file a theft report. The earphones are new and real expensive. You can see pictures of the earphones on amazon (store I purchased it from) using this link [redacted]. It was the earphones and a charger, I have the other parts. ThanksDesired Settlement: When security told me that they checked it out it was already 4 days after the incident. The earphones are new and expensive had they checked it out earlier (when I called first time) they would find it. I'm not asking for money but I would like my earphones or another new pair back. Thanks.

[redacted],

I have tried to reach out to Mr. [redacted], but have not heard back. I spoke with our Dir of Security regarding this as he had initially spoken to and followed up with Mr. [redacted]. Our Dir of Security interviewed the room attendant and houseman who entered the room upon departure and neither one of them recall seeing the headphones. This was told to Mr. [redacted], but he did not like the answer.

We followed our normal protocol for any Lost and Found item. If I due hear back from Mr. [redacted] I will send you an update.

Thank you.

Yours in Hospitality,

Review: me and my wife booked a 2 night stay at paradise point and were beyond dissatisfied with our experience. we arrived at the resort at about 12:30 pm on July 2nd 2014. we booked our reservation through Expedia for $619. the resort does not let you check in until 4pm which is outrageous, the resort did let us check in early but for a $35 early check in fee, we really had no choice other than walk around for 3 hours. our first room was not even clean, it looked like the guests had literally just left and the room had a mildew smell like there were wet clothes laying in the room for several days. we called the front desk and asked to be changed rooms, they said someone would be returning our call right away. after not receiving a call back and waiting about 30 minutes we just packed up and headed to the front desk. the people at the front desk were extremely rude, ironically the person in front of us was changing their room due to it not being clean as well. I asked if they could waive the $35 early check in fee for the inconvenience of having to pack up our stuff and move rooms and we were told "no". finally we were able to get a different room. the pics online look beautiful, the rooms in person are old and just seem to have a dirty feeling, our room also had a swamp cooler and the air it was blowing out also smelled like mildew, my wife was ready to go to another hotel. upon checkout we were told that we had $169 in resort fees. our room was in a horrible location, on top of spending $619 for and old dirty room with no view at all, we were also charged $35 to check in at almost 1pm, then an additional $75 to park our own vehicle at the resort. and also some additional resort fee as well.Desired Settlement: as if the $619 for 2 nights was not enough, not to mention the $500 we spent on dinner and drinks inside the resort, the parking was just too much, know one at the hotel informed us we would be charged to park.

for the money we spent, we were completely dissatisfied with our experience at the resort. we were not at all taken care of and instead felt like we were getting nickel and dimed to death for bad service.

for the inconvenience and bad customer service we would like to be credited for the early check in, the resort fee and the parking for our 2 night stay

Response:

I have honored the guest's request and credited his card for the early check-in, parking and resort fees. I also sent him a separate email apologizing for the inconveniences and informing him of the credit.

You can close this case.

Thank you.
